For those who emailed NVC, did you get an automated email to show they received it right after you sent it?

A lady at NVC said if I don't get that message then NVC didn't receive my email.

I sent the email to nvcinquiry@state.gov. Can anyone confirm?

I didn't get auto response either. I called and they said they were having email issues.

They have assigned my mom a Dominican Republic's case number and she should have an MNL case number. I'm afraid this will prolong my wait so I'd rather call everyday, send emails or what not. I need my mom here.

My last 6 emails to NVC within the last month I have not received any automated response and NVC still responded to all my inquiries with a response within 3 days to a week. AOS Paid for my Dad.

1. DO NOT DELETE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
2. Please make sure you are using Rich Text Editor as your message setting (Settings->Posting Settings->Enable visual (RTE))
3. Click "Reply" on the most recent/updated posting version of this list.

Got Invoiced for AoS ! Woo-hoo!

Gonna be sending in Choice of Agent tonight and translating the IV papers tomorrow. Gotta wait for AoS papers for probably another week or two, though.

Anyway, its about AOS. So, I am sponsoring both my parents, but since I dont have enough income my husband (we file taxes togeather) is going to help me. Plus just safe side my aunt (not a household member) is also planning to be a joint sponser. so which forms do they fill out?

Also, are 260 and 261 easy/self-explainatory ? I am freaking out over this whole process

You fill out I-864, your husband - I-864a, your aunt I-864. But you cannot combine income with your aunt's. Either you and your husband sponsor or your aunt. Only the income in the same household can be combined.

Form 261 is pretty easy and has a lot of explanatory notes. Haven't seen the electronic 260 yet.

If you and your husband together meet the guideline then I wouldn't complicate the process by using your aunt. Just check the guideline to make sure. But yes your aunt would fill out I-864 as a joint sponsor.

So I got the employment letter today and it only has two lines on the big piece of paper. Lol

I hope that's enough. Does it have to contain pay info too? I hope this is enough.

Still waiting for response on expedite request. Got email to pay IV bill today.
