Yes, AOS I-864 for each parent. Now, you will have to wait for the NVC number and Invoice Identification number to be assigned, before you can do anything else, it takes 2-8 weeks. You can start call

The petitions for parents are separate, though, and only one parent is listed on each petition. My guess would be multiple persons applies to the beneficiary with dependents, i.e. IR-1/2 or K-3/4. AO

I wonder how soon I can get the invoice ID. The system won't let me log in without it. I asked them if they would email me the information and they said yes, but I did not think to ask if they already had the invoice ID... Spent all day on the phone yesterday, only got through at 7:30 pm and got to talk to a live person after 40 minutes of hold.

OKflyboy, Have you tried calling early in the morning? Thats when I have done it and the waiting period is about 5 mins. Also, after I got my case # I called the next day and they gave me the invoice #.

Question about the affidavit of support: I am the petitioner, and will file with a joint sponsor for my dad. Do I fill out a I-1864ez and my sister files the I-864? Or just because I one joint sponsor I also have to fill the I-864?

I called NVC this morning to get my MNL number but for some reason they gave me a SDO number and they said that Dominican and I have to email them to have it changed. Anybody here had that same issue?

  • 01/09/2013 - DS-261 Choice of Agent sent
  • 01/13/2014 - Paid AOS fees
  • 01/15/2014 - Paid IV fees
  • 01/24/2014 - AOS and IV documents sent
  • 01/27/2014 - AOS and IV documents received at NVC
  • 01/30/2014 - DS-260 completed online
  • 02/21/2014 - Checklist received for missing Austrian police report
  • 02/24/2014 - Checklist received for incorrect information on AOS
  • 05/02/2014 - NVC Document approval, Interview date received

It's almost a week and I'm still not able to pay IV bill for my mom. WTH?! It's ready for my MIL but not for my mom. Calling NVC today.

Mother and MIL

02-13-2013 - I-130
02-21-2013 - NOA1
10-21-2013 - Sent to another office
10-23-2013 - Sent to NSC (60 days the most to approval) (praying)
11-13-2013 - NOA2. Approved!!!!!!??????

11-19-2013 - NOA2 hardcopy receved

NVC
11-18-2013 - Shipped to NVC

12-09-2013 - Received by NVC

12-23-2013 - Entered in system

01-07-2014 - DS-261 completed online

01-08-2014 - AOS paid

01-16-2014 - Expedite service requested

01-19-2014 - Paid IV bill

01-23-2014 - NVC requested phone number for applicant to complete expedite request

01-23-2014 - IV paid

01-30-2014 - Expedite request approved (awaiting email instructions)

02-03-2014 - Expedite approval received in the mail

02-04-2014 - AOS and IV package sent to supervisor (MIL's sent for regular processing)

02-06-2014 - Package received and signed for at NVC

02-10-2014 - Called NVC and was told I-864A not signed by me

For those who emailed NVC, did you get an automated email to show they received it right after you sent it?

A lady at NVC said if I don't get that message then NVC didn't receive my email.

I sent the email to nvcinquiry@state.gov. Can anyone confirm?
