Yes, AOS I-864 for each parent. Now, you will have to wait for the NVC number and Invoice Identification number to be assigned, before you can do anything else, it takes 2-8 weeks. You can start call

The petitions for parents are separate, though, and only one parent is listed on each petition. My guess would be multiple persons applies to the beneficiary with dependents, i.e. IR-1/2 or K-3/4. AO

Need Immediate answer:

I am going to attempt an expedite request from NVC for my mom's paperwork. they received the my case last dec 18th.

I recently got released from my employer related to my pregnancy complication.

Question: Should I include the letter from my employer that I got released from my work as one of the "proof of docs for expedite processing" ? Will this affect my AOS part? (I have all the income tax proofs and et al that exceeds requirements)

I have a question on the police certificates - Do they need to be the originals that are sent to NVC or will a photocopy suffice?

I-130 for both parents

March 28th 2013 - Priority date/ NOA 1
November 14th 2013 - Transferred to Nebraska Service Center

January 7th 2014 - Case changed online to approved for both

January 8th 2014 - case changed to shipped to NVC

January 9th 2014 - case changed to NOA 2 mailed

January 10th 2014 - Received the hardcopy of the NOA 2 stating that NVC would issue a case number in 30 days approx.

January 21st 2014 - Case Received at NVC

February 26th 2014 - Case numbers and IIN number received - Wrong embassy code assigned...now waiting for new case numbers.

March 3rd 2014 - Filled in DS-261 for both parents

March 5th 2014- AOS available, paid and submitted AOS packet.

March 6th 2014 - USPS shows packet was delivered at NVC

March 10th 2014 - AOS shows as paid in the CEAC portal/AOS logged into system as being received by NVC.

March 11th 2014 - New case number assigned for my Dad.

March 20th 2014 - Paid IV fee for my Mum.

March 25th 2014 - AOS accepted by NVC with no checklist.

March 26th 2014 - Filled in and submitted DS-260 for my Mum

March 31st 2014 - AOS found in my Mum's file for my Dad - accepted and placed into his file/IV fee available for my Dad and Paid.

April 1st - Mailed all civil documents to NVC for both parents.

April 3rd: IV fee shows as paid in portal/submitted DS-260 for my Dad.

April 22nd: checklist issued for civil documents - NVC error ...

April 23rd: sent another certified copy of my marriage certificate

April 24th: Case complete! :)

April 30th 2014 - Medical scheduled for parents at Knightsbridge in London

June 11th: Interview at London Embassy - Approved :)

I don't know the answer to your question but I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to try. I'd go for it because it's not like you're not still employed.

Congrats on your approval !!!!!! About time, right?

Have you received an email saying that USCIS mailed the approved case to NVC ? The reason I am asking is because I received a hardcopy of my approval around December 12th and it said that "USCIS has already send the file to NVC." Then on December 31st I received another email saying that " approved case has been send to NVC...blah, blah, blah.....USCIS is so deceiving mad.gif I don't even know what to believe, what not to believe anymore, its sad cray5ol.gif

Hi Peace, I haven't received any emails or texts despite being signed up for them. I got a call yesterday from an immigration officer. He was calling in regards to me requesting a call back from a tier 2 supervisor last week. He informed me that a notice had been mailed to me on 1/8/14 stating that the I-130 was approved and shipped to NVC on 1/7/14 and to follow the instructions on the letter. I asked how long it would take before it got to the NVC and he said 8 weeks, sometimes less. My reply to that was "wow, that's some snail mail postal service haha". :P

Did you get an email with the barcode to pay the AOS? Or how>?

When I entered my case and invoice number it gave me the option to do the Choice of Agent. After 24hrs I logged back in and it gave me the option to pay for the AOS.

Have a very weird .... perhaps even a stupid question. When an RFE is issued, is it generated and sent by the center who is currently handling the case or the RFEs are sent from somehwere and the actual case file could be another location. Just wondering that I received an email/txt for RFE yesterday and the case is currently at CSC now how long do I have to wait before I can actually see the letter.

As long as it takes for USPS to deliver it, I suppose. I never thought about it, but it should be coming from the same location where the case is.

The lady whom I talked to (she's very nice) told me that, I don't have to pay for Affidavit of Support because the one I paid for my mom also covers my dad, so I will just have to wait for the email to pay for Immigrant visa fee for my dad. :). The email might be tomorrow or in few days. :)

Those who got approve in less than a month after case transferred, did you call them or you got from e-notification?

I waited until I got text/email notification. Because the letter said to call in no approval in 60 days I was waiting on that.

02-21-2013 - NOA1
10-21-2013 - Sent to another office
10-23-2013 - Sent to NSC (60 days the most to approval) (praying)
11-13-2013 - NOA2. Approved!!!!!!??????

11-19-2013 - NOA2 hardcopy receved

NVC
11-18-2013 - Shipped to NVC

12-09-2013 - Received by NVC

12-23-2013 - Entered in system

01-07-2014 - DS-261 completed online

01-08-2014 - AOS paid

01-16-2014 - Expedite service requested

01-19-2014 - Paid IV bill

01-23-2014 - NVC requested phone number for applicant to complete expedite request

01-23-2014 - IV paid

01-30-2014 - Expedite request approved (awaiting email instructions)

02-03-2014 - Expedite approval received in the mail

02-04-2014 - AOS and IV package sent to supervisor (MIL's sent for regular processing)

02-06-2014 - Package received and signed for at NVC

02-10-2014 - Called NVC and was told I-864A not signed by me

02-12-2014 - Signed I-864A sent

02-24-2014 - Case complete for mom per NVC rep

02-27-2014 - Case shipped to Kingston

03-01-2014 - Hard copy of transfer received

03-04-2014 - Interview scheduled over phone by consulate

03-06-2014 - Packet 4 shipped per consulate
