You can pay as soon as you receive the invoice and the payment option is open. You don't have to wait.

If you don't have the invoice yet, get the AoS paperwork ready while waiting.

Updating my status. Hopefully I'll be able to mail the AoS packet tomorrow, and IV packet in a couple of days. Gonna submit DS260 today.

You can pay it as soon as it's available which is usually a day or two after doing the D'S 261. Gather the required documents for the AOS such as tax papers, letter from employer and so on.

You can mail it as soon as you have the cover sheet with the bar code, which you should have, since you paid the fee. Cover sheet can be printed out online.

No, they go with the IV packet. You will get a separate cover sheet for that when you pay IV fee.

I know for sure that you need the cover sheet and it is different from the AoS cover sheet.

You can send both packets together, maybe that's what the lady meant. You may send IV supporting documents together with your AoS paperwork, but you need to pay the IV fee and print out the cover sheet first.

I just completed and submitted form DS260. Boy was it tough. The paper ds230 only asked for the names of the towns the applicant lived since she was 16, but the electronic form wants full addresses. My mom moved a lot! One of the towns we lived in when I was little does not even exist anymore. She moved quite a bit in the same town, too, from her place to my grandma's, to a rental, back to grandma's and so on. Had to get my mom on Skype to try and remember some stuff together.

I hope I did not make any mistakes! I checked it several times and I'm still afraid I might have done something wrong. Well, I suppose the worst's gonna happen is NVC will RFE me...

If I receive my MIL's AoS papers in the mail today, I'll mail the AoS packet tomorrow. Still working on the translations for the IV packet.

It's amazing how NVC responds when you shake them from their sleep.

I just called a little while ago to follow up for the Invoice for the IV packet, literally 13 mins later, I received the IV invoice. Lol.

I just paid it. I will be sending both AOS and IV packet supporting documents Wednesday. I could tomorrow but we have winter storm coming tonight.

I'm getting really anxious knowing it's close to the end.
