The petitions for parents are separate, though, and only one parent is listed on each petition. My guess would be multiple persons applies to the beneficiary with dependents, i.e. IR-1/2 or K-3/4. AO

Just did a few edit on this. I interchanged NOA2 and Transfers because Transfers are now common after NOA1. I hope mine will be updated soon. It will be 5 months in less than 3 weeks from today.

Just got a text that my mom's I130 got approved yay!! don't have NOA2 yet to update timeline..

Wow! It was really fast! Congratulations! Great news! It looks like Vermont Service Center is the best! Both of my parents were sent to California Service Center in early October 2010 and I've received no news since October 8, 2010 (NOA1). Wish my parents' cases were approved that fast... Congratulations again!

2010-10-04: I-130 Sent for both parents via Express mail in one envelope.

2010-10-08: NOA1 email and text notification received. Both checks cashed.

2010-10-08: Case numbers assigned: both cases sent to California Service Center. Cases available online.

2010-10-15: NOA1 hardcopy received by mail.

2010-10-18: Both cases "Touched" online.

2011-01-21: NOA2 email received. Cases approved in 3.5 months.

2011-01-27: NVC entered both cases in the system. Auto update by phone.

2011-01-28: Called NVC to update my email address.

2011-01-29: NOA2 hardcopy received by mail.

2011-01-31: NVC sent me emails about AOS fee and Choice of Agent forms. Paid AOS fee of $88.

2011-02-01: Sent Choice of Agent forms to NVC via regular mail.

2011-02-02: AOS fee status online: PAID. Printed Document Cover Sheet.

2011-02-03: Mailed 2 forms (for both parents) I-864EZ, Affidavit Of Support to NVC.

2011-02-04: Called NVC: Choice of Agent forms received on Feb 3, 2011

2011-02-07: Called NVC: IV Bill fee is ready to be paid. $404x2 paid for both parents online.

2011-02-08: IV Bill fee status online: PAID. Printed Document Cover Sheet.

2011-02-09: Received email from NVC asking to complete an Application for Immigrant Visa.

2011-02-12: Mailed DS-230 packets for both parents to NVC via express mail.

2011-02-14: Recieved USPS confirmation that DS-230 packets were delivered to NVC on FEB 14, 2011.

2011-03-01: Called NVC: they received DS-230 and biographic data on FEB 28, 2011.

2011-03-11: Both cases completed!

2011-03-26: Received email from NVC: interview for parents scheduled for May 9, 2011 in Warsaw, Poland.

I got a return parcel note from the post office yesterday and I'm thinking it could be the form I-130. I addressed it to the express adress in Chicago. I heard this happened before that it was returned because no body is available to sign. sigh. I need to go get it and then mail it again. This time, just to the regular P.O. Box.

I got a return parcel note from the post office yesterday and I'm thinking it could be the form I-130. I addressed it to the express adress in Chicago. WOW purr, good for you. But what's up with the transfers from CSC to TSC? It's just doesn't make any sense at all.

It's been 9 days since the check was cashed and no NOA yet. And on the online status, it says something like "Your receipt number cannot be found". How long will it show online after the check is cashed, usually? Thank you.

IR-5 Petition for Mother:

12-31-10 - Sent Form I-130

01-04-11 - NOA 1

01-10-11 - Check cashed

05-09-11 - NOA 2

05-18-11 - Case Number, IIN, E-mailed DS-3032

05-19-11 - Paid AOS Fee $88.00

05-23-11 - AOS shows "PAID"

05-24-11 - Paid IV Fee $404.00

05-26-11 - IV Fee shows "PAID"

05-28-11 - Mailed I-864

06-13-11 - I-864 accepted

06-20-11 - Mailed DS-230

07-07-11 - SIF and Case Complete

07-19-11 - Passed the two-day medical

09-06-11 - Visa Approved

09-08-11 - Visa On-Hand
