It would appear that there is significant tension between ideologues of all stripes and those of us that prefer democratic rule. Texas does have Austin, after all and LBJ was texan! And Scott Brown comes out of Massachussets! Ideologues are not likely to ever be happy in real life with democracy, too much potential that those dxxn voters will violate the ideology. Better that they get to be the rulers in a totalitarian government so that the ideology can be kept pure! Of course, we have seen how that has worked out.

I never said he was a RWN! If anything that tends to prove my point. Ideolgy is hard to sustain when you get down to the nuts and bolts of governing, especially if you work within a democracy and hope to be re-elected!
