The NVC is unable to schedule interview, as it is not current by the cut-off dates established by the Department of State. There is no visa number available according to this file's priority date under this visa category.

The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952, as amended, controls visa categories, priority dates, and the availability of visa numbers. The petition will be retained at the NVC until a visa number is available. The petitioner, beneficiary, or attorney of record will be notified when further consideration can be given to processing this petition.

RFE DNA/ did the DNA test req 8/2/2012

8/3/12 Collection kit was mailed in Tirana embassy (for my brother)

8/13/12 my brother was called at the embbasy. and the kit was mailed out to DNA center in California.

9/7/12 The results mailed out to Tirana Embassy

9/14/12 embassy called my brother to mail his passport to get his visa.

DNA journey lasted 6 weeks

They did tell you that VISA wont be avail untill April of 2011 - is that for F2A? And by that time - wont there be another wave of retrogression for the number of applicants that would then be processed from the PD 2008 til August 2010 ?

For Filipinos, most of the waiting times for family members will be an incredible 12 to 23 years come 2011. " --->> Is this my projected wait time (F2A) ?
