Called USEmbassy for Appointment Schedule... what''s next?

Hello All fellow VJ members,

I called today at USEmbassy for my schedule of Appointment using this # 02-902-8930, i did several calls before i was accommodated by

a a call center agent based in Malaysia, she cannot understand tagalog dialect so i did it in English. Thanks to God, i finally scheduled for an interview on January 25, 2011. My query is,,, What proof i should have to bring during my interview to show that i have my appointment schedule on the 25th? When i opened my email inbox, i got an email from notification@ustraveldoc.com for the Appointment Link.. After i opened the Link i was given a password which is one of the requirement when we LOG IN to the site for online appointment aside from this, UID is also ask there? so where could i get the UID? Or do i still need to LOG IN for an Online Appointment after I was scheduled by the Call center agent on January 25, 2011?

I am confused . Please help me

Hi there, what I did is I called them back again and I talked to the same agent and asked for my UID number. but I'm having problems downloading my confirmation letter online and my interview is on January 6 .

So after you were scheduled by the call center agent via phone call, you received an email and had it the password but don't have UID just like mine? Meaning we have to LOG IN to ustraveldocs.com/ph site to get the confirmation and what else we have to do there? it won't work for me there coz UID is required and i don't have it yet, so where can we get on that ?

call back again the call center and ask them if you can get your UID number just provide some of your infos that you gave while you're scheduling your appointment. I never get that site working they sent me an email with my password but the link was broken and had to call them several times but no one can help me so I'm calling again tomorrow morning. Yes unfortunately we have to log in to that site just to get our confirmation letter. I hope it works for you.

Actually before we ended our conversation this afternoon ( Call center agent ) I asked her for the password and the UID, and she told me that she will send me an email, but when i read on it, only the password was there. Very frustrating bcoz they are not prompt on their customers/ callers needs and they need us to call again and again and again not considering the amount of money we spent to call them... Hmmmmmm????? VERY BAD services ...

call again & ask them to just dictate to you the UID. even if u reschedule the UID remains the same only the password changes

insist that your rather have the UID & password by . that's what we did everytime we call.

Yes, Thanks so much for your advice. I did it today so i have now my UID and password, but still a problem occurred coz when i LOG IN to the site for the appointment confirmation and guidance sheet. ( DOWNLOAD PDF ) still didn't work for me, ( Invalid receipt no or passport ) is what you can see at the bottom. i keep on repeating the process using the given UID and password but still not working. Are you guys had the same trouble with mine about this process? So, what did you do then? Any idea please???

Did you print your Appointment letter and Guidance sheet? I having trouble to print the Guidance sheet but i print the appointment letter already? Do i need to print also the guidance sheet and how? Do you have a copy of that? I know appointment letter is very important, right?

I am doing this for my daughter. Could you please help us.

I just wanna ask if only Appointment letter need to download and print? Or need to print also the Guidance sheet? I'm confuse. Please help....
