I got the email today Jan 5,2011 from the NVC -Checklist cover letter as below :

The NVC has received the requested Affidavit of Support form (I-864) for this case. However, we are

still waiting for the Immigrant Visa Application (DS-230) and corresponding civil documents for each

traveling applicant to be returned to National Visa Center for review. You will find the DS-230 form

along with complete instructions for submitting the civil documentation required for this case at

www.ImmigrantVisas.state.gov under the Applicant Document Processing link.

We urge you to send in the DS-230 form(s) and required civil documentation for each traveling family

member in one package to the National Visa Center (NVC). Sending the information in separately may

cause delays in the processing of the case.

But i already send DS230 and civil documents since Dec 20, sign by J.Desmond.

what mean? AOS it ok right?

How i can do right now ??

From my own understanding, you got a false checklist. The email asked you to submit DS-230 which you already had submitted. I suggest you'd call the NVC and talk to a representative and clarify things out. I think some people also received false checklists before.

Crazy that I was thinking the same that the holidays are over so the NVC can get back to work. I could not really enjoy the holidays because the NVC is slow. Will our waiting ever end???

I don't know the answer to that one. But I'm sure you will receive an appointment letter from the NVC that has your interview date on it. :)

My documents were entered into the NVC AVR system on 12.29.2010. I hope we won't get any RFE :innocent:

Ok, my AVR FINALLY changed, and so far it's just like yours--the message says "found to be missing or incomplete" or something like that. I'm hoping that it just turns out to be that they haven't entered the IV packet into the system yet (mine was also delivered to them on December 20th, four days after they received the AOS packet). I'm going to call them tonight to see if I can get any info.

I have the same question as you though--if that IS what's missing, does that mean that the AOS packet is ok? Or is there still a chance for an RFE on that?

Think I am losing it! I keep checking the payment portal for SIF every few hours the last two days. My RFE entered the system on 20th Dec - surely it should be my turn already!!

I am trying to work out what date they are up to? I know SIFs arrived on the 4th Jan for those with docs entered on 16th Dec. PLease please put me out of my insanity and give me my SIF tomorrow!

Congrats to all that have got theirs already this month!

I received the same exact email also, but I haven't sent my DS-230 yet. Sooooo, for me this would just mean they are waiting for me to send it right? There was no send by date (other than within 1 year).

Woo hoo! Talked to a person at NVC--my AOS packet has been reviewed, and is complete, and now they just have to review the IV packet! And that was entered into the system yesterday! Hoping for SIF next week!!! :D
