We are calling NVC and talking to operators and they say no case number yet... :( Our case was approved in TSC, so I think because of them we are so delayed :(

Oh :( I'm sorry. Yes, it could be the TSC's fault. Can you get ahold of TSC and ask them what happened to your approved petition? It's frustrating. Supposed to be at this time you're already halfway with your NVC tasks.

Crazy that I was thinking the same that the holidays are over so the NVC can get back to work. I could not really enjoy the holidays because the NVC is slow. Will our waiting ever end???

Oh :( I'm sorry. Yes, it could be the TSC's fault. Can you get ahold of TSC and ask them what happened to your approved petition? It's frustrating. Supposed to be at this time you're already halfway with your NVC tasks.

We have emailed TSC several times already, but no response so far. My hubby is going to call USCIS today and ask. But I doubt those people will give us any good info! It is just such a waste of time and just because someone at TSC doesn't do his/her job correctly. mad.gif

You know there is a thread already about that, so far just 2 people got their NVC case numbers of more than 20 approved people and it took them more than 40 days to get it!! Hard to believe, huh? I do hope ours will somehow magically reach NVC faster!

Wow! That's not good. I do hope it wouldn't take that long for you. Well, you can keep yourself preoccupied by studying the shortcut guides and also getting ready for your packets so that by the time the ball starts rolling, it would roll faster :)

AT LAST!! Went on NVC website and got SIF for my childrens cases which means all our cases can move forward to receiving an interview date! Dont know if it was hubby's call to his senator's office that did it, but I am so thankful that at last we are one step nearer. Good luck to everyone else as well. :dance: :dance: :dance:

21.5.10 - NOA1

17.11.10 - NOA2 (there was a hold up due to incorrect information put on forms by our lawyer)

NVC

16.12.10 - All fees paid and everything received at NVC

05.1.11 - SIF and CC for my case only. Get RFE for my 2 sons as lawyer made ANOTHER mistake and made errors on I-864's for the children.

10.1.11 - Corrected I-864's received at NVC via Fedex

14.11.11 - Corrected paperwork entered on system according to AVR

17.1.11 - Medicals done

27.1.11 - My husband calls his senator's office and asks for help to get things moving.

31.1.11 - Finally got SIF for my sons!

01.2.11 - CC (Phoned DOS as NVC shut due to weather and they told me paperwork was completed at NVC on 1st Feb)

10.2.11 - Interview date assigned

15.3.11 - Interview - APPROVED!!!

24.3.11 - POE - Dallas, TX
