Missing information or incomplete financial evidence...can't wait to have the checklist information letter from NVC for correction....sigh....

Call them and ask what is missing, my checklist came about 3-4 days later after I've already sent my RFE.

NVC

12/06/2010 -- NVC Received

12/07/2010 -- AOS fee paid

12/10/2010 -- DS-3032 NVC Received

12/11/2010 -- AOS I-864 mailed

12/15/2010 -- IV Bill invoiced

12/16/2010 -- IV Bill showed as paid

12/16/2010 -- DS-230 sent

12/17/2010 -- DS-230 NVC Received

12/21/2010 -- Entered DS-230 into the system

01/10/2011 -- RFE for i-864 signature

01/11/2011 -- RFE NVC Received

01/13/2011 -- RFE entered into system

SIF - 01/31/2011 :) Thank God!

Case completed - 02/01/2011

Interview - 03/29/2011 Scheduled on 02/11/2011

03/29/2011 put on AP for two weeks

04/16/2011 POE JFK!

02/08/2013 Received biometrics appointment letter

Crazy that I was thinking the same that the holidays are over so the NVC can get back to work. I could not really enjoy the holidays because the NVC is slow. Will our waiting ever end???

I'm sorry you got a checklist. I was devastated when the day I found out I got it. But talking to an operator and not wait for the email will surely save some time. Be sure to ask what the exact document they really want and if that is all. Then let your hubby print the cover sheet from the payment portal and attached it to the checklist response packet. In my case, I let my co-sponsor wrote CHECKLIST RESPONSE on the cover sheet and our case number at the top right corner of every page. I hope it's just a minor problem. Goodluck Rie!

The NVC telephone AVR system, is that voice who gives you the instructions, is that a man or a woman's voice?

Well, I'm not sure if it changes once I get an NVC case number, but right now, it's a man's voice.

The NVC telephone AVR system, is that voice who gives you the instructions, is that a man or a woman's voice?

For me, it's a man's voice. I knew someone who called the NVC. His call was forwarded to the supervisor. Then he found out that the supervisor's voice is a match to the AVRS voice :)

21.5.10 - NOA1

17.11.10 - NOA2 (there was a hold up due to incorrect information put on forms by our lawyer)

NVC

16.12.10 - All fees paid and everything received at NVC

05.1.11 - SIF and CC for my case only. Get RFE for my 2 sons as lawyer made ANOTHER mistake and made errors on I-864's for the children.

10.1.11 - Corrected I-864's received at NVC via Fedex

14.11.11 - Corrected paperwork entered on system according to AVR

17.1.11 - Medicals done

27.1.11 - My husband calls his senator's office and asks for help to get things moving.

31.1.11 - Finally got SIF for my sons!

01.2.11 - CC (Phoned DOS as NVC shut due to weather and they told me paperwork was completed at NVC on 1st Feb)

10.2.11 - Interview date assigned

15.3.11 - Interview - APPROVED!!!

24.3.11 - POE - Dallas, TX

No, they don't. I knew some people who had been calling everyday. They got ther cases completed right on time. :)

Filing based on 3yrs/USC Spouse. 3 year residency anniversary is in August 2014. Filed immediately after the 90-day early filing mark (May 2014)

06/11/2014 - Biometrics Appointment

09/15/2014 - Inline for interview scheduling (was stuck in "Initial Review" for over 3 months!)

10/27/2014 - Scheduled for interview

12/19/2014 - I AM A US CITIZEN!

Skynaut, did you try calling the NVC operator? I think your case is not just about time, it's more than that! I got my NVC case number and IIN 7 days after USCIS approved the petition. If you were not able to get them yet, I am pretty sure you will get it this week, unless if they'd close again. Hopefully New Hampshire weather will cooperate.

We are calling NVC and talking to operators and they say no case number yet... :( Our case was approved in TSC, so I think because of them we are so delayed :(
