You're in the same boat as me Angeli...docs from RFE have been 'under review' for 2 weeks now, its ridiculous. I had my hopes pinned on Feb interview, now looking doubtful for March. Fed up!

I just don't understand why it's taking so long for them to deal with checklist responses. I could say the USCIS is better in handling RFE's. I got my approval the day after they received my RFE response. What annoys me is we're trying our best to be proactive but they are less responsive. *sigh* Still, good luck to all of us. I hope our papers will get out from there very soon.

Could it be?? A SIF after midnight?? I've been going crazy, waiting for an update, checking the website several times a day...usually I give up after a certain point in the evening, thinking they won't update anything else until the next day...tonite I was going so crazy and I was wondering if perhaps the website may refresh after midnite eastern time...I know...grasping at straws, but I was up, so what the heck....and guess what?? I got the coveted red box!!!!! I tried three times on two computers...same result...SIF SIF!!

Thank you! Hey...so how did you find out the official "case closed" word? Did you have the patience to wait for the email, or did you call and an operator told you?

Hi Gurus!!

I need help!! My mother's case at NVC now, I have paid all the neccessary fees. Now my question:

I have received all my mother documents from Syria. but her all documents has name spell different than that I have filed in I-130 application. How do i change it to correct name spell? I already talked to my mother in Syria, She told me that Syrian government couldn't change name spell mistake according arabic word verb.

NVC records name: NADRA KHYATA

Civic Doc rec. Name: Nadra Khaiata

Is that gonna be big problem for my mother case? or Should i send an email to SUE and attached the birth certificate to correct name spell!!!!!????

I would greatly appreciated your help.

I have the same problem, NVC told me to include beneficiary's copy of passport and write a note that

they should correct her name.

I'm not sure about that. Best thing if you call them and ask if you can email it to them. They told me

to submit it with my AOS papers.

I waited until the next morning and called the AVR--the message had changed to case completed! However, had it not, I would have called an operator every day until it was ;-). Good luck!

wow i can't beleive what i'm seeing, i had to call and speak to an operator and i was able to confirm that my case is complete today and that they are waiting to schedule the interview.

i wish good luck to everyone in january, and i urge you to check your status online.
