I hope you will get your SIF and CC next week. I was expecting you would have it this week. The NVC should relocate their office to a place that doesn't have too much snow problem you know.

Crazy that I was thinking the same that the holidays are over so the NVC can get back to work. I could not really enjoy the holidays because the NVC is slow. Will our waiting ever end???

Congratulations Saylin! I hope you will get your NVC case number and IIN very soon and you will have a smooth NVC journey despite their closings due to inclement weather and their lack of motivation to work double time. Goodluck! :star:

I just called and spoke to a CSR and he said it takes 20 business days before they can come up with a result about the checklist response and as of right now, they haven't checked the mail. That's why my checklist response is not on the AVRS yet. Those people are unbelievable! How could they not open it the moment they received it? Now, I'm hopeless for March interview date.

I just called and spoke to a CSR and he said it takes 20 business days before they can come up with a result about the checklist response and as of right now, they haven't checked the mail. That's why my checklist response is not on the AVRS yet. Those people are unbelievable! How could they not open it the moment they received it? Now, I'm hopeless for March interview date.

Don't lose hope yet! It takes about 3-4 days for them to enter docs into the system, try tonight or tomorrow it will be in AVR. I really hope

we can get through all this very soon!

Yeah I'm going there to Philippines to see my wife too in March. Hopefully everything will happen soon. It would be nice if we all had our interviews in Manila in March.

Could it be?? A SIF after midnight?? I've been going crazy, waiting for an update, checking the website several times a day...usually I give up after a certain point in the evening, thinking they won't update anything else until the next day...tonite I was going so crazy and I was wondering if perhaps the website may refresh after midnite eastern time...I know...grasping at straws, but I was up, so what the heck....and guess what?? I got the coveted red box!!!!! I tried three times on two computers...same result...SIF SIF!!

USCIS

2010-09-07 I-130 Sent

2010-09-14 I-130 NOA1 received

2010-12-17 I-130 NOA2 (no email notification, no change in status on the USCIS website, hardcopy did not come in mail until 2011)

NVC

2010-12-21 NVC Received (was calling NVC every day, found out from them about approval over a week before NOA2 rec'd in mail)

2010-12-24 email address given to NVC, IIN number received from NVC operator

2010-12-24 I-864 AOS bill available - paid immediately

2010-12-24 DS-3032 emailed

2010-12-27 I-864 AOS bill showing as "paid", printed coversheet, mailed I-864 packet overnite

2010-12-27 Mailed "backup" DS-3032 overnite

2010-12-30 I-864 AOS delivered to NVC

2011-01-03 NOA2 finally received in mail...thanks

2011-01-03 DS-3032 has been accepted, per the automated message

2011-01-03 DS-230 IV bill available - paid immediately

2011-01-06 Rec'd last of the supporting DS-230 docs from beneficiary

2011-01-06 DS-230 IV bill showing as "paid", printed coversheet, mailed DS-230 packet overnite

2011-01-07 DS-230 packet delivered to NVC

2011-01-11 AVR indicates DS-230 was received, waiting on AOS still, however, confirmed with operator they have both pieces

2011-01-28 Website changed to SIF right after midnight eastern time...hmmm

2011-01-28 Case closed per AVR!!

I was updating my timeline and noticed packet 3 and 4 slots to fill in the date. Do they send a packet 3 and 4 for CR-1 ?? If so, does anyone know what they contain. How long does it normally take the NVC to scan in the AOS once they receive it. Mine was received 1/27/11 at 1130 am... and do they send something saying the sponsor is approved or ??

You're in the same boat as me Angeli...docs from RFE have been 'under review' for 2 weeks now, its ridiculous. I had my hopes pinned on Feb interview, now looking doubtful for March. Fed up! :crying:

USCIS

21.5.10 - NOA1

17.11.10 - NOA2 (there was a hold up due to incorrect information put on forms by our lawyer)

NVC

16.12.10 - All fees paid and everything received at NVC

05.1.11 - SIF and CC for my case only. Get RFE for my 2 sons as lawyer made ANOTHER mistake and made errors on I-864's for the children.

10.1.11 - Corrected I-864's received at NVC via Fedex

14.11.11 - Corrected paperwork entered on system according to AVR

17.1.11 - Medicals done

27.1.11 - My husband calls his senator's office and asks for help to get things moving.

31.1.11 - Finally got SIF for my sons!

01.2.11 - CC (Phoned DOS as NVC shut due to weather and they told me paperwork was completed at NVC on 1st Feb)

10.2.11 - Interview date assigned

15.3.11 - Interview - APPROVED!!!

24.3.11 - POE - Dallas, TX

Congrats :) Thats amazing...I check that payment site all the time (i think prolly everyone here does that haha )... glad you got sign in failed... i hope we all get it soon :)
