i added my timeline to my sig as you have said..

we sent the Affidavit of support last jan11 but im not so confident about it.. there is miscommunication, and we forgot to attach the barcoded cover page and also our case number.. i hope we wont get RFE.. gahh..:(

how will i know if they received it already..

currently, im working on my DS230, and hopefully sending it asap...

Crazy that I was thinking the same that the holidays are over so the NVC can get back to work. I could not really enjoy the holidays because the NVC is slow. Will our waiting ever end???

I dont think you will get any RFE but it may get delay. Talk to the operator and tell them your situation.

Call on 603-334-0700 and then put ur NVC # you should be able to get something via AVR system. By the way you may have redial many times to get to the NVC AVR system or even talk to the operator.

currently, im working on my DS230, and hopefully sending it asap...

Try call them ASAP to see what they say about it. They might send it back to you as incomplete. I think somebody else posting here did same thing and NVC sent the AOS back to them to redo it. They are very particular, even if you use wrong color ink pen they send it back.

could actually be a blessing in disguise. If they start to get back logged and work starts to pile up higher, then maybe there will be less scrutiny when it comes to checking things and faster approvals ?

I called NVC in morning today their system were saying NVC is closed today friday 2011 because of the inclement weather no operator assistant will not be available during this time and blah blah blah, I got so upset after hearing this message. one more day off in NVC.

Then I called NVC again(just for fun) at 3:30 pm PST also spoke to the operator, she said right now they are reviewing package and I should hear something after 2 weeks . 2 weeks is just too much. I hope it gets done earlier

Very interesting! Well, at least we know that there was some work being done today...I thought the whole day was a wash because of the snow! As for the two weeks, I think that's a positive sign...I've never heard of an operator giving such a low time threshold...usually it's the standard "give us 6 weeks" line...heck, 2 weeks may mean 2 days then!

You dont need appointment to do the medical, you can do it anytime you want. Its now a walkin first come first serve, all you need is the letter from NVC that has your case number on it and your passport. You present them to the guard at the front entrance to the clinic and he will let you inside.

Congrats to all who receive interview dates , so happy for u

I got case complete January 13, so i'm still waiting for an interview date

Coulnt be any sooner , i'm stressed out , some good news wud be great.
