Congratulations!!! So happy for you! I probably started calling NVC about 4 days after our I-130 was approved, but we didn't have a case number until I think 7 days. We got it the same day we received NOA2 hard copy (like many others on this site have mentioned). If it's not in the AVR, talk to an operator--you'll want to do that anyway to a) get NVC case #; b) get your IIN; c) give them your and your spouse's email addresses. Once you do all of these, go to the NVC payment portal and see if your AOS fee has been generated, and pay it. Then email them your DS-3032. And you'll be on a roll!

Good luck!!!

Sorry to hear about the RFE art. That is too bad! I hope that you are able to get that issue resolved quickly :star:

Yeah...winter is a crummy time to be stuck at the NVC due to snow and then holidays come up that we all used to know and love but now dread :P Luckily...MLK Jr Day is the last holiday in Jan so NVC should become more productive after that for a bit :P

Too bad we can't just sleep through the NVC process and wake up with all of the bills paid and everything done and well rested.. Maye some day :P

Hey guys, we are joining you since our application was approved JAN 13th at TSC!!! :) So excited!! How are things here? Any good news? :)

Do I understand it correctly: we have to wait one week and then start calling NVC?

Great news to see the TSC is finally taking care of the July-August filers...I would recommend that you start calling the NVC right away, at least using the AVR...you never know...and it doesn't hurt anything to try...you're not even needlessly bugging anyone using the AVR...mine made it to the NVC in 3 business days after NOA2

By no means am I suggesting to always use the AVR in every circumstance. I understand the value of talking to an operator...when it makes sense...and in your case, if you've never been entered into the AVR, you're right, you would need to talk to an operator everytime. Also, in my case, my AVR message now states that the DS-230 has been received, but the AOS has not. This prompted an immediate call to an operator, since I sent in the AOS a full week before the DS-230...and the operator was able to confirm for me that both pieces were received. However, if everyone used the operator option everytime they called, the hotline would be even more difficult to get through than it is now...I don't see the harm in first using the AVR, then, if things don't seem right, ask an operator.
