I am wondering what kind of reasons will cause the K1 to be denied.

consulate concludes the relationship is not valid and is solely for immigration benefits

one or both parties is not free to marry

did not meet face to face in previous two years

some possible medical reasons

some previous crimes or criminal activity by the applicant

YMMV

I am wondering what kind of reasons will cause the K1 to be denied.

Fraudulent relationship or no qualified financial sponsor are the two most common reasons in general but criminal records or previous illegal presence in the USA will kill the deal too, as will sex crimes against a child by the US Citizen. It's a complicated process. Do some reading.

If I have no job but have a co-sponsor will it cause a denial? Or what are the chances that will cause a denial?

Anything else I should know? Other possibilities for denials?

please google "visa denials" look at travel.state.gov website

since we know not what country the applicant is from.. only answers that can be given are generalities

Some embassy wont accept a co-sponsor. You don't say where your SO is or where your SO would be interviewing. Some embassy are really really strict and some have high fraud problems so its going to be hard to advice you on things without more infos.

it depends on the country.. many do not accept a cosponsor for K1... if you dont meet the I-134 income requirements then no visa is issued there..

What about credit reports or minor traffic like speeding tickets or parking tickets?

So far I haven't seen any thing that will deny us. We haven't met yet but that will be taken care of by at least April.

Credit reports for the US Citizen have no bearing unless they show an IRS tax lien. Speeding tickets in the USA for the foreigner that are unpaid could be a problem (Failure to appear is a crime.)but not speeding tickets for the US Citizen.

If the CO is on her menstral and she feels like being an a** or he feels like being a d***. You can have a real relationship and still get denied. So just pray that who ever you get is in a good mood.
