Sorry for the delay in replying :) Well it took about a year from the posting of the alien registration form to the day we received an interview date. That is from August 2009 - August 2010. You can take the long wait to start gathering evidence and starting the DNA testing procedure just be on the safe side.

Thank you soo much for the info. i really appreciate that. well, it's looking like a year wait, so i guess i got a couple more months to go or maybe less. Praying and hoping i too hear something soon. Goodluck to you and thanks..
