Hi everyone, I'm a new member here and don't know how things are done but i'm hoping someone can help me out. After a 5 year Journey, My son finally had an interview in august where he was told by the CO that he need to prove his relationship to me. As per instructions we've completed the DNA testing and are waiting for the new interview which has been scheduled for January 2011. In his 221g, he was asked to bring letter, phone records, cards, remittance slips,photos.... This is where the problem is lies.(1) My son grew up in boarding schools so there hadn't that many chances for photos so we only have about 15 together through the ages (2) Apart from some good lucks i sent him for his exams, here aren't any letters (3) Our main mode of communication is through the telephone and apart from the land-line,the mobile service providers dont print out call records unless you produce a police report.

So my question is will this evidence be enough or do does he need more?

They are looking for a time-line of evidence to show that you have always been a part of your child's life, not just the time period to enable him to migrate to the US. This evidence will be very crucial to your case.

You need to create a vivid picture as if his life depends on it. So you choose. They wants to see that you have been an active father in your child's life, since you only have pictures up to the age 2, then something else has to take place of pictures and it must be fool proof.

Sorry for the delay in replying :) Well it took about a year from the posting of the alien registration form to the day we received an interview date. That is from August 2009 - August 2010. You can take the long wait to start gathering evidence and starting the DNA testing procedure just be on the safe side.
