i hope that uscis/nvc read this #######, then maybe they will understand just how frustrating they are making all this...yet again our life is in the hands of complete strangers and it totally sucks big time...i hate this waiting,

our christmas sucked big time

our new year sucked big time

and my husband is forking out for yet another trip over here which he, nor me, can ill afford, but we do this because we love each other and its been way too long already...this past 18 months of being stuck in this god forsaken hole called manchester uk not knowing our fate because some person chooses that this is how these things are done!

ok so we never did advance parole...but then the powers that be never really did their part while i was over in the usa...no welcome pack...nothing to say we were doing anything wrong...nothing on the web about time scales for adjustment of status, everything is too confusing, so much research...so much time spent on reading procedures and correct forms...

nobody contacted us after my arrival in the usa...and they go on about illegal immigrants and how important it is to stop them, yet they do nothing for the ones who try and do things right.

i just want to go back home and be with the man i married nearly 3 years ago...

this is so wrong...we are married god damn it let us get on with being a family!!

:crying:

sorry for my rant....needed to vent to them in the know.

Waiting sure does suck, but the USCIS is not required to tell you to do anything or that you need to do anything. They don't even remind you to file for ROC when your green card is soon to expire. Some people get a reminder MOST don't ever get one.

VJ has all the info and guides about K-1 and AOS available for everyone. The K-1 flow chart even tells to file for AOS and has all the steps for the whole process listed that needs to be done.

-------------------------------------------- as1cE-a0g410010MjgybHN8MDA5Njk4c3xNYXJyaWVkIGZvcg.gif

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

I agree if is very hard around the holidays to not be with the ones you love.

However, I wouldn't blame USCIS for you being apart so long, you only petitioned a few months ago and earlier it was your responsibility to file for AOS and AP, not their's.

I hope you and your family can be together soon.

And in this crazy life, and through these crazy times

It's you, it's you, You make me sing.

You're every line, you're every word, you're everything.

Rant Away! You are among friends who understand!

Living in the US and being surrounded daily of examples of people who are rewarded for circumventing BREAKING the immigration laws surely sucks when I know that we.....................us, all of us here are being screwed for following the laws! And this country bends over backwards to accommodate the illegals. I spend a fortune for health insurance...........illegals get treated at clinics for free............Our children son want to go to university out of state, they pay higher tuition..........illegal immigrants get (proposed) in state rates?

Why when we call NVC do we have to dial 1 for English? What about our spouses from Mongolia, Ukraine, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Belarus, Georgia, Nigeria, Iran, India, Pakistan, Krakozhia..........wherever............Why can't they dial a number for assistance in their own Language? it is because our entire immigration system is centered on the flood of illegals surging through the broken dam that is suppose to be a border. And political correctness run amok! Illegal immigrants simply form too large of a voting block!

So while we wait, collectively spending untold hundreds of thousands of dollars unnecessarily for travel, communications, as well as the lost wages and the absolutely priceless loss of time with our loved ones, missed holidays, missed morning hugs and good night kisses....................while we do all these things because we respect the law..........or fear the consequences..............our bureaucrats are writing new laws...........the illegals are streaming across the borders.............and Rome burns.

God Bless America

I did the K1 too, with my ex wife, but luckily I knew about this site before hand. It was a godsend, without it, back in 2004, Id have been stumped and not have known where to start. So I know where you're coming from when you just did the K1 and knew little about the procedure.

I really hope this speeds up for you though.

My wife and I also feel your pain. This coming April we will have been married 3 years. We filed in June still no answer. Have Senators involved. Calling USCIS is a joke they won't tell you anything. The only time our case was touched was when my Senator contacted them. He got generic answer on 12/8/2010 decision in 45 days. What kind of ####### is this? Not a single touch since 12/8. Just wanted to let you know other's are going thru worse times than you. Now I spend more money to go and be with my wife again for Chinese New Year. This is ridiculous that those of us who try to do it the legal way are given the run around while at the same time our congressman are trying to pass the dream act just to get votes in 2012. Sorry for my rant! Maybe it's time to give up and just live in China with my wife!

AGREED!! Like I have mentioned earlier in other threads, I will NEVER forget my experience with the bureaucratic bungling and insensitivity of USCIS and NVC, and the way in which U.S. Citizens are forced to take a back seat when it comes to us being re-united with our families.

My mom and me often talk about how difficult this is. We do things legally and it's like we are the ones punished.

Me and my wife we cry everyday... We married and had only 4 days together. Hopefully for future couples, the process can be sped up and not have to suffer like we suffer..
