The Vermont Service Center has updated their processing dates as of August 25th. The last schedule showed they were processing I-129Fs with receipt dates of April 3. Now they're back to February 25th!!!

This is ridiculous! How the hell does that happen? You can't get a straight answer. It would help so much to have a reasonable expectation for completion of this process. My fiancee and I have been at this since November 27th of last year. Our petition was denied in April and we resubmitted our application once we corrected our error (failed to submit G-325A information for her). Almost 4 months later since NOA1 and nothing.

I'm having a tough time keeping her spirits up. I'm so damned frustrated.

Hey, don't lose hope. As I can see from your timeline, you should get an approval soon - it's VSC, after all. As for the processing dates, they aren't accurate. It doesn't mean they're only working on petitions from February - there've been some approvals this weeks of petitioners who've filed much later than that. Good luck! :)

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.

Have you called them to see what's going on?

Don't lose hope, I know it's very difficult but in the end, when you're together, it'll all be worthy.

Best wishes (F)

Thank you all for the encouragment. This website and the people on it have been a source of patience and hope. Not to mention all the great information that is shared. I can't help but feel that we are being made to go through this aggravating waiting for some reason. I just wish that I could give my fiancee a real date to look forward to instead of hearing her cry when I tell her that I still haven't heard anything.
