Thanks everyone for all your information beforehand. My situation is I have filed both an 1-30 and a 1-129f for my wife of one year to join me from Bangkok. I am living in the states working but do not have enough income from last year to qualify me a a sole sponsor. I will have my tax returns from this year but do not have returns from the last two years. My sister will co sponser but from what I read about the Bangkok embassy is that they basically won't take a co sponsor for the K-3 visa.

My Questions are.

1. Does Bangkok even process K-3 visa's after Febuary 2010?

2. Does Bangkok accept Co-Sponsor for a CR-1 visa.

3. What will be the new process and where will I submit my affidavit of support.

Thank you

1. NVC in the USA closes the I-129F (K-3) when USCIS approves and sends both to NVC at same time, for more than a year now USCIS has been tying the petitions and approving together. I have yet so see a K-3 go through since last Feb, so forget about it, it is a dead visa type.

2. It will be NVC that accepts the I-864s for the CR-1 visa so YES a joint sponsor is accepted for CR-1 visas.

3. Wife needs to send you DS-3032 so that you can act as agent in the states, and seh will need to gather documents for you to then send to NVC.

thanks for the reply

What benefit is it for my wife to file DS-3032 and what is the process after that. I don't mean to sound so helpless ( I already successfully filed a K-1 visa for her about 5 years ago but we didn't get married) but when it come to her visa I get a bit paranoid and am defiantly confused at this point. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you David
