Ricardo,where do you get this info about disposition of traffic record ? I am also assuming one can take your past 3 yrs tax info for the tax aspect.

The information comes from an immigration officer. Also the 3 tax years of tax shows one filed jointly with his/her spouse to meet the requirement in addition the tax return might show that you owe taxes however not if the owed amounts were paid.

Updates on members....please if i left anybody out or you see a error on your timeline status get back and i shall edit it for you..

Sometimes applicants get a so called yellow letter.....nothing to stress about this is standard, as the uscis need more or missing documents, so just bring what they ask for at interveiw..

it's also wise that if you had any speeding tickets and the uscis seems to be sticklers on this here lately, even if under $500 fine bring evidance to show that your ticket has been payed for....bring to your interveiw court records (if any) with payments/receipts which has been met....so you can clear this up there and then at your interveiw.

If you file on the 3yr rule..bring documents which connects you and your spouse....even if they didnt ask for it at any stage, as ive seen applicants, who was asked for nothing to bring only there id/pp/ and basic standard stuff.....but at interveiw they seem lately to ask for other documents which connects you and your spouse....so take it with you, they might not ask for it, but still this will deal with what they want there and then, hence not delaying your application...

No no no. Unless immigration officers have access to everyone's traffic record which i doubt. What i mean, is where do you get this print out from? Is this at the local driver's office? If yes, does one just goes there and asks them for a driver's record history?

Guys, So if i have like 2 speeding tickets in the past 10 yrs and they were both under $500 fines,with the last one 7 yrs ago. Does that mean i need to show proof that a paid a $120 ticket from 2004?

I would'nt take much notice of that online stuff at this stage of the game, as ive heard many members who passed interveiw and done oath the oath and still there status says the same as you mention..

what normally happens in a situation like yours is that you passed the test and your file is there until that date passes....once the date has passed your 3yr thing ya talking about, then the uscis will slot you in the next available oath day......that what normally happens...

You can either do what recardo said.....get on the blower....or make a info pass.....which to me sounds better really as you can speak with them face to face and push them for a answer of some sort for when the next oath date would be...im sure you be in soon tho...

Just came back from memphis for my interview. Just a quick update: My Interview was scheduled for 9:35am,we arrived at 9:10am. Went through security and waited for like thirty minutes before i was called. I was interviewed by a lady. She reviewed my application with me asking me all the questions like my name, my address, my phone number and all some of the yes and no questions. She asked me if i have gotten a ticket before and i told her yes but i didnt know where to write it on the application. She told me that it is no problem and make note of it.

She gave me a a paper and told me to read: What is the largest state. She told me to write that Carlifonia is the largest state. she aske me the civic questions as follows:

there are four amendment to the constitution about who can vote, tell me one?

Who is incharge of the executive arm of government?

If the president can no longer serve, who becomes the president?

What was the main concern of the United States during the cold war?

Why did the colonist came to America?

What is one right of everyone living in America?

I answered all the questions correctly and she told me to sign my passport photo. She also gave me a piece of paper and told me to go through it and make sure that it is correct and sign it.She said that my certificate is gonna be made from that info. She told me that she will approve my application on the 2nd of April, because that is my 3rd year anniversary. She gave me the N-652 and mark the congratulation part and wrote upon 3 year anniversary.

The only document she asked was my driver license, passport, and green card.

She told me that my oath will be scheduled in East Tennessee withing 2-4 months and my oath might be either in Knoxville, Chattanogga or Greenville. She also said that if they dont schedule the oath, then they will schedule me in memphis.

Congratulation! It feels better to get it over with. They told me the same thing on Jan 26 regarding the Oath timing. Knoxville has the ceremony on August 19.

For some reason TN is way behind from more others field offices. We are going there next week for my spouse as well. I hope they can get you in the next 2 ones: Chatanooga: April 28 or Greenville: May 11. I called the courts again to make sure they did not change these dates,but its still on. Again good Job!

Sure, I slept like a baby after the interview day(tense before it and exhauted after it).I can not wait to know what will happen or be like after the Oath.... Ok guys,let hope for the best. Again congrate....Get some sleep. In suggestion where you guys stayed? (hotel). We will have to saty there as it an early one 0750am. I know they are many around.May be you have a suggestion.

It is advisable to saty around germantown or Bartlett, since inside Memphis is dangerous. When we went last year july for my removal of condition interview, we stayed at the Wingate by Rodham at Germantown too. Be safe!

I'm glad your Interview was great and i'm sorry you had to drive through the gloomy weather that we now have in Nashville... hmmm I should have given you my contact so that you can stop and Meet for 10 minutes.. so keep that on ya agenda if u gotta drive to Memphis.. A

A ten minute interview is excellent.. I'm not proficient with about 20 questions.. so I will take 2 hours and review those questions.
