I'm getting ready to send in our application soon as well, as 4/1 is our third year mark!

Quick question for those who filed already- for the three years of tax transcripts, did you send in 2007-2009?

I was a bit concerned that I should do my 2010 taxes before I file the N-400, which would delay everything significantly.

Quick question for those who filed already- for the three years of tax transcripts, did you send in 2007-2009?

I was a bit concerned that I should do my 2010 taxes before I file the N-400, which would delay everything significantly.

You should be fine. I did the same as well and perhaps all the January filers. Most companies do not even give out W2 until end of January so its very unlikely to have 2010 tax returns at this time. USICS knows that. At the time of your interview if you happen to have 2010 tax returns make sure you bring it with you.

Yep i agree..if you have not yet got your 2010 transcripts in hand right now, then there is a good chance you will have them at the interveiw if they ask.. but i guess they come across this at the start of every new tax year.

I'm so frustrated. We mailed our packet Dec 31st. I asked to have it with a tracking number but didn't know exactly how to mail it (my fault..)

So he sent it First-Class package with signature confirmation.

it just got there ... TODAY!!!! (#######?) and they had to leave a note because there was no one to sign for it (I guess because it's a lock box?)

Will we be ok? Will someone go sign for it? I'm irritated. It's not a huge deal becuase we're honestly not in a huge rush....but it's more a pain!

thoughts?

Finally finished with immigration in 2012!

I also sent in 2007-2009 and had the same concern. Hopefully they are smart enough to realize why we didn't send 2010.

I think that means that you do the Biometric next. You will receive a Biometric appointment in the mail next. That is just the way the Online status had on the USCIS website. Believe me I receive the samething. also check others posting on here, you will see exact response as me.

Ok N-400 sent today Jan 15th 2011 Texas PO Box, im off and running finally!

Documents sent based on being Married to a USC for 3 yrs or more

2 pics (pencil on back my pics My A# Number)

P.R Card copy of front and back)

My D/L, SSN, vehical insurance card with both our names on the card (copy)

Tax returns and transcripts for 07,08,09 (copies) 2010 taxes not done yet, until Feb/March but befre April 15th 2010 ( I might have them at hand when interveiw comes maybe)

Marriage Cert (copy)

Passport of usc wife and myself (Front pics cover copy)

USC wife Birth Cert, D/L, ssn, (copy)

Our USC Sons Birth Cert, passport (front cover with pic) (copy)

I also Downloaded Form G-1145 filled out (this form is to have any updates sent to your phone via text and e mail, download fill out and print off, and add this in your N-400 application so you get notified of any updates on your N-400 Application from the uscis Hopefully!

Oh and lets not forget the hole in the pocket $680 check

(with A# on the back of check, Light pencil) Make a copy of check sent

(make copies of EVERYTHING you send inclu your payment check)

if sending to P.O Boxes have the USPS confirmation Ticket they have sent to correct address(tracker number) Not signed for because its going to a P.O Box....Not sure what you guys will pay for this to be in one package but i payed just over $6 and delivery will be within 2/3 days.

Ok sorry bout all this but i want to have something written down for myself also (speaking out load to myself sort of deal)

10/06/04 - DS-3032 and I-864 fee bill delivered to NVC

10/07/04 - DS-3032 received by beneficiary (moot, already sent petitioner's copy to NVC)

10/07/04 - NVC enters DS-3032 into system

10/16/04 - Wife goes back to the UK because her visa waiver is almost up.

10/18/04 - NVC sends IV fee bill

10/20/04 - IV fee bill received by petitioner

10/22/04 - IV fee bill delivered to NVC

10/26/04 - NVC sends I-864 packet

10/28/04 - I-864 packet received by petitioner

11/01/04 - I-864 packet delivered to NVC

11/02/04 - NVC system says IV fee bill payment received

11/10/04 - NVC sends DS-230 packet

11/12/04 - DS-230 packet received by petitioner

11/16/04 - DS-230 packet delivered to NVC

11/18/04 - NVC system says DS-230 packet received

12/21/04 - A-Holes at the NVC confirm losing my I-864 documents and request that I resubmit everything.

12/27/04 - NVC receives my resubmitted I-864 packet

12/28/04 - CASE COMPLETE!!!

01/05/05 - Case forwarded to London Embassy!

01/25/05 - Packet 4 received!!

Interview is Feb. 15!!!

Visa Granted!!!!!

03/08/05 - Wife arrives in US permanently

03/14/05 - Wife applies for SSN at local SS office

03/18/05 - SS card arrives in mail

04/04/05 - Plastic Green Card arrives in mail along with two welcome letters
