I would ask Sayhaorbust about Mr. Nam. He is currently helping his fiancee with the interview prep, and when she was here he had her all stressed out and was in my opinion quite rude with her. But as I said Rich can tell you his opinion on the matter so that you can get multiple view points on Mr. Nam.

Hello,

I would like to ask you a question: our timeline is nearly the exact same as yours. I am shocked that you received Packet 3 just one week after HCMC received it from NVC. From everything I have seen or read, it takes 2-3 months for that to happen. Do you have a special case?

Hello,

Our petition was sent from NVC to HCMC the 3rd week of December. What is the best way to contact the consulate to see whether they received the petition? Is there a particular phone number we should call? Thanks.

huuloimacgum,

I met my wife for the first time on July 2009 and married her on September 2009 and filed the I-130 on December 2009.

She was approved for a Visa on August 2010 and arrive in America on the same month.

That's meeting and marrying my wife in THREE months!

What made my case so strong IMHO is the fact that:

1. I had 5 people from the US attending my wedding (no Dam Hoi)and I had pictures, reciepts, plane tickets for all of them as evidence.

2. I pass the poverty line test easily.

3. I visited her 3 times in a year span.

4. I had butt load of pictures at each visit.

I didn't have to do a timeline and the CO never looked at any of the supporting documents (skype chat, reciepts, hotel tickets, plane tickets, etc. all arranged chronoligically).

He only skimmed through the pictures.

IMHO, the key is to organized enough evidence CHRONOLIGICALLY so that she can easily go through them with the CO.

Just remember, life over there in VN is NOT real! Your money will be worth a LOT less once you get back over here. Back to reality, cowboy!
