So if we SAY there is global warming while knowing it doesn't exist and then PREDICT more than usual snow....global warming still exists?

Madame Cleo, you can celebrate the end of global warming now, or you can wait a few years. But here is the deal...

There IS NO global warming that can be caused or cured by man. There is no desire, worldwide, to pony up cash to pay for "fixing it" and it will not happen. The USA is out of the game for now as the Republican controlled congress will not be funding it anymore. Climate protection legislation is dead in the US Congress for at least the next 10-12 years. The junk-scientists can only cry "the sky if falling" for so long, and then everyone will see the sky is not falling. They keep saying it is a "crisis" and that we MUST do something NOW. But we won't. Will they say it is still a crisis in 10-12 years? Do you see how lame this gets?

Every day a few hundred thousand more people see that it was never anything but a hoax. If you want to be the last to admit the truth, that is fine with me, as long as I am not paying for ignorance I am OK with that.

So the melting ice goes into the atmosphere and falls back to earth as snow? So then will sea levels rise or just humidity levels? This is just too rich. There is an excuse for every proof that shows global warming does not exist. It gets more and more preposterous and more and more people see it for what it always was.

I am smarter than junk scientists that are making things up in order to line their pockets with money.

Weather is not climate.

Only in the US is there a denier movement that is this obsessive. Elsewhere people are trying to find solutions to the problems caused by releasing billions of tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere which is the inevitable result of the use of fossil fuels. Americans hate polar bears and arctic ice and all because they believe this is party political and a Gore initiate. Crazy.

BTW you do know there is flooding in Australia that covers an area the size of Germany and France put together? I am sure they find the jokes hilarious.

Elsewhere people are doing nothing except talk. They wait for us to tax ourselves. There are 5 times as many polar bears as there were in 1970. We have a denier movement because our congress would actually have taxed us for this hoax. The others just sit back and wait for us to do something, what would they have to deny? Lets see the booming economies of China and India impose a Cap and Trade tax on themselves.

Australia is a perfect place. They have no flooding. Booyah said so. Besides, weather is not climate.

Do you have any knowledge of the numbers of polar bears during the 60's and 70's and whether these numbers represented a stable and thriving population? No, I thought not. Once again, outside of America this is not a party political issue, no one outside of a certain cooky faction on the political fringes peddles the hoax nonsense that you guys are so keen on. I wish I could agree with you Gary but the evidence for human induced global warming is very real and has not gone away. I think you do make some good points about the relative futility of getting the world's governments to all take the collective action necessary to avert the coming catastrophe. We are quite likely already beyond the point of no return. What the eventual consequences will be are speculative, but there is no question that many places on earth will be experiencing significant problems. I will be interested to know what you think about this in another 10 or 20 years! And I really hope we are wrong and you are right!

It's not about feelings Gary, but about evidence. Weather is not climate, and arctic ice is visibly shrinking, that's EVIDENCE of GLOBAL WARMING as apposed to evidence of a seasonal high temperature.

Changes in climate are not the only problem that is caused by burning vast quantities of fossil fuels and this should not be a political issue, but a human one. GW, man made or otherwise is a hoax, or at best a scientific error. The warming stopped in 1998 and since then it has held steady to slowly going down. Those are the facts whether you like it or not. Think about it, 1998 was the warmest year. If the theory of GW is true every year since then should be warmer. Has it been? No, some years since then have come close, others have been cooler. The whole theory has proven itself wrong. So wrong in fact that the nuts are trying to call it climate disruption because they can no longer say it is getting warmer.
