Just wondering if someone here from San Francisco Bay Area?

Hi from the East Bay!! :)

10/13/2010 - Mailed in The Package (AOS, I-765, I-130)

10/17/2010 - USPS confirms delivery to USCIS

10/25/2010 - Check cashed

10/26/2010 - All applications been worked on aka touched

10/28/2010 - NOA1 Receipts for applications received

11/24/2010 - Received appointment for biometrics in the mail for 12/17 *yay*

12/17/2010 - 9.25 a.m. - 9.45 a.m. Biometrics done !!

12/23/2010 - EAD Approved and Card on its way - Email notification received *yay*

01/03/2011 - WOOOHOOO ...EAD Card in Hand!

01/04/2011 - Oh boy....Received Interview Letter today - February 3rd is the day! :)

02/03/2011 - Interview scheduled 12:45 p.m. - out of there before 1:30 p.m. - further review

Coming home, checking for touches at 5:30 p.m. - CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED !!!!

02/09/2011 - Yup another e-mail saying that my card production was ordered.

02/10/2011 - E-mail notification "Approval letter was sent today"

02/14/2011 - Welcome Letter / Approval NOA and Card (separate envelope) received!!! :D

Late November 2012 (have to look up my receipts ;) - mailed in ROC I-751

12/12/2012 - NOA 1, status extension received

12/18/2012 - Biometrics appointment letter received

01/08/2013 - Biometrics done

Hello...same here..we are also from East Bay..my husband works in San Francisco...an hour ride with BART from our city..Happy New Year!!

not actually... just want to know who's from visa journey live in San Francisco cause sometimes, it nice to know that someone here live closeby to us. Yeah that would be great to share some local info from local people.

used to live on the edge of north bay (fairfield) but moved one city over to vacaville. but drive into the city a couple of times a month to hang out with relatives.

02/25/2010: Recvd letters-I-130s was recvd

06/17/2010: Oathtaking - Became a US Citizen

06/21/2010: Called USCIS to let them know to update my I-130 from an LPR petition to a USC petition.

06/25/2010: Case for both sons Touched

06/28/2010: Petition updated to a USC petition (Oldest son)

06/30/2010: Petition updated to a USC petition (Wife & youngest son)

07/19/2010: G-325A returned. Incomplete.

07/30/2010: Completed G-325A mailed back via certified mail

08/04/2010: Certified mail delivered at Laguna Niguel

08/07/2010: Touched - UCSIC received reply to RFE

08/13/2010: I-130 APPROVED!!! (recvd email update)

NVC JOURNEY

08/20/2010: NVC recvd I-130 and case number assigned

09/01/2010: Recvd AOS fee bill & DS-3032 via email

09/02/2010: Paid AOS fee & DS-3032 sent back via email

09/13/2010: AOS packet mailed via UPS

09/15/2010: AOS signed for by NVC. IV fee for wife & kids ready.

11/10/2010: Medical...1st day at St. Luke's

11/16/2010: USEM interview scheduled on 12/14/10

12/14/2010: VISAS APPROVED!!!!

Happy New Year!!..my husband & I lives in Concord,CA(city before Bay Point & Pittsburg)...we had a wonderful New Year celebration last night..we went to see the fireworks show @ Pier 14 in Embarcadero...it was so nice to see the fireworks over the Bay Bridge, it was our 1st New Year together..early that night,we went to Perry's for dinner..their food was good...how did you celebrate your New Year's Eve??...May the Lord bless us all!!..

I am now living in Antioch, CA but was born in raised in San Francisco. I also would like to connect with VJ members to share experiences, up's n down's and hardships that come along with going threw the visa process.

My fiancee is still in the process to pass the medical and interview and it's been over a year already. Currently as I write this i am vacationing in the Phil to visit her and family, spent Christmas and New Years together had a big argument and nearly broke up just before New Years...because of financial disagreements.

Hope I can connect with a few local Bay Area VJ members...feel free to PM or email me.

Luckily I'm done with my visa for now. Just want to be a chatterbox. lol...I would love to know local people here. Hope you guys will have smooth sailing on your visa journey.

Maybe we could share cool bay area tips? Like I know that the Oakland museum of modern art is free the 1st Sunday of the month!

Also please support the Asian art museum in San Francisco because it needs money or will close. They have some solid exhibits and there are some great CHEAP restaurants nearby?

I was at Oakland Museum recently to see Pixar Exhibition and had a big GOOD food there, one of the Chinese Restaurant.
