I'm interested in knowing if there is anyone out there who has recently filed their I-130...perhaps we can be of support to one another with our cases being filed so close together. I sent my case in on December 10 and received my receipt on 12/16. Is there anyone else out there that would like to share, perhaps we can start a thread?

You could also do what Jen and Geert did and add a link to the tread in your signature. People will come. It really helps to have others with you as you go through the process.

Good luck on your journey. Make sure you look at the steps you need to do early on and don't be afraid to ask for advice.

November 6, 2010: DS-3032 email received. Emailed DS-3032
November 8, 2010: IV paid, DS-3032 accepted
November 10, 2010: IV status "PAID". Sent IV packet
November 15, 2010: IV received at NVC
November 22, 2010: False Checklist for missing DS-230
November 29, 2010: AOS + IV entered into system
December 4, 2010: SIF, Case Completed
December 6, 2010: Interview Scheduled
December 27-28, 2010: Passed Physical
January 6, 2011: Interview @ 0830 Approved
January 14, 2011: Visa received
January 31, 2011: CFO seminar completed
February 11, 2011: POE- LAX

Removal of Conditions
January 8, 2013: Mailed I-751
January 10,2013: NOA1
February 6, 2013: Biometrics Appoint.

June 4, 2013: Received I-797 NOA removal of conditions

There are two December filers threads already. Welcome. We filed our I-130 on Christmas Eve, Dec 24th. Now waiting for a receipt and getting ready for further steps. Hope it goes smooth and FAST for all of us. All the best in the New Year!

Bwahaha! Weep and hold each others hands, I love that! But I do feel like that sometimes. This is definitely the place to go in our situation. My family is already fed up with my immigration talk, husband is far away, 7hr difference is way too much to be able to chit-chat whenever we feel like it. VJ is my haven where I can come and vent, or educate myself, or learn about other people's experiences, or read success stories and cry happy tears for others.

I sure am happy I found this website. Good luck to us all.

It was created December 3rd. I am hoping that we can just focus on one thread to eliminate multiple threads. There's another one who created another December thread and we are both hoping that the admin can do something to combine both. You may visit the thread I posted so that you can see all December filers.

October 2008 - we first met each other at work (Makati, Philippines)

February 2010 - we finally admitted that we are in love (yay!)

Mar 18-Apr 5, 2010 - hubby went to the Philippines for vacation to celebrate his birthday

March 31, 2010 - engagement day!! yay!!

August 21-29, 2010 - hubby went back again to PH for the wedding prep

October 19-November 2, 2010 - hubby arrived in PH for our wedding :)

October 23, 2010 - WEDDING DAY!!

March 18-28, 2011 - hubby's visit to Philippines for his bday (2nd bday together)

USCIS Stage - 136 days for USCIS journey

December 2, 2010 - I-130 sent to Chicago Lockbox

December 6, 2010 - I-130 received!! yay!!

December 13, 2010 - NOA1 text message received!

December 16, 2010 - NOA1 hard copy received in the mail

April 28, 2011 - NOA2!!! Thank you LORD!

NVC Stage - 21 days for NVC journey

May 2, 2011 - NOA2 hard copy received in the mail; NVC received our case

May 6, 2011 - Case number and IIN ; DS3230 sent by beneficiary through email to NVC

May 10, 2011 - AOS bill invoiced and paid

May 13, 2011 - IV bill generated and paid

May 16, 2011 - IV bill shows "PAID" ; AOS and DS230 packets sent to NVC

May 18, 2011 - NVC received both packets

May 19, 2011 - Medical exam - PASSED!!! :)

May 27, 2011 - Sign in Failed and Case Complete!!! Woot!

June 9, 2011 - Interview date assigned

July 14, 2011 - Interview @8:30am - APPROVED!!!!

July 21, 2011 - Visa Received! FINALLY!

July 23, 2011 - POE - Salt Lake City, Utah *home sweet home*
