Please submit court or prison records indicating the nature of this person's conviction and sentence.

These records should bear the official seal of the issuing authority

this is what the checklist says. and i havent been to court or jail. maybe my attorney filled out one of the papers wrong. since she put my son down as married by mistake and had to wait 2 months for it to be corrected. please help this is soooooooo frustrating.

When I got my check list ( for k-1 in Canada ) it listed that as well as other things like adoption papers etc. I didn't have any of thos papers and I ended up having to contact my embassy and ask what I need to do about that. I was told to place a check mark and write on the other line " not applicable "

May not be the same for your embassy so I would contact them or call NVC / DOS to confirm what to do about that.
