We got our NOA1 on July 31. And our NOA2 on August 23. That's only 23 days! I never thought it would be so fast. I figured we'd be waiting 3 months or more.

For all those people worried about the lack of activity for their cases....We never even got a touch. No touches, no RFE's, nothing. So don't worry about touches. They don't mean that much. One day I was about to leave for work. I thought I'd check my cases status before I went, hoping for some kind of change, anything at all. And there it was, simple, surprising..."This case has been approved."

To all those who are still waiting...good luck, have patience, and stay positive.

Yes, VSC has always moved at light speed compared to the others (especially CSC :angry: where time just stands still.)

  • July 16, 2006 Met in person on her birthday in United Arab Emirates
  • August 4, 2006 sent certified mail I-129F packet Neb SC
  • August 9, 2006 NOA1
  • August 21, 2006 received NOA1 in mail
  • October 4, 5, 7, 13 & 17 2006 Touches! 50 day address change... Yes Judith is beautiful, quit staring at her passport photo and approve us!!! Shaming works! LOL
  • October 13, 2006 NOA2! November 2, 2006 NOA2? Huh? NVC already processed and sent us on to Abu Dhabi Consulate!
  • February 12, 2007 Abu Dhabi Interview SUCCESS!!! February 14 Visa in hand!
  • March 6, 2007 she is here!
  • MARCH 14, 2007 WE ARE MARRIED!!!
  • May 5, 2007 Sent AOS/EAD packet
  • May 11, 2007 NOA1 AOS/EAD
  • June 7, 2007 Biometrics appointment
  • June 8, 2007 first post biometrics touch, June 11, next touch...
  • August 1, 2007 AOS Interview! APPROVED!! EAD APPROVED TOO...
  • August 6, 2007 EAD card and Welcome Letter received!
  • August 13, 2007 GREEN CARD received!!! 375 days since mailing the I-129F!

    Remove Conditions:

  • May 1, 2009 first day to file
  • May 9, 2009 mailed I-751 to USCIS CS

CSC takes several months to do an approval and VSC can do it in 23 days? Maybe they're all buzzed-up on Maple syrup at VSC? :wacko:

Yeah, it's called a cheap sugar rush. :lol:

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Congratulations !!! I think the way you package and present your application determines how fast you recieve you NOA2. These guys at USCIS are kinda lazy, so if your application is muddled up and messy expect these government workers to throw your application to the back of the line. That's another long wait just because some government worker is having a bad day and does not want to use their initiative to sort things out.
