50k is nothing... but I know 50k for sure. My family has been blessed by God with a good family business, we are self employed and make more money than most Americans. I don't need to prove anything to you, i'm just very proud of my dad because he's made a difference in hundreds if not thousands of peoples lives via donating, community work, and church.

FYI, who are you to decide whether my dad should be allowed back in? IMMIGRATION OFFICERS WANT MY DAD BACK IN! My family is acquantances with about 10-15 immigration officers, ranging from normal ones to ones who adjucate forms. They are in love with my dad and have done everything for us to make this journey easier.

FYI, my dad was illegal from 1982-2005, but IMMIGRATION KNEW HE WAS ILLEGAL! Our family business is right outside of INS... and has been since 1990. He's paid taxes since then too and he pays more taxes than 90% of Americans. He even paid taxes for this year even though he's not here (and even though our income went down due to my dad leaving).

reading comprehension 101: i was not making a statement about whether he should be let in or not, i simply stated that the first sentence might have something to do with why he can't get back in. regardless of who from immigration loves him or not, it's the law they have to uphold. whether he was paying taxes does not take away from the fact that he was illegal. or does it in your mind?

Actually, do you know the whole story? I don't think so.

He was suppose to get his green card IN 1990, but instead was denied. My parents did not know about appeals back then, so, there was nothing they could do about it. My mom ended up getting it though. The officers later agreed that he was suppose to recieve it, but said they couldn't do anything now that it had been such a long time.

I'm sick and tired of Mulims that keep saying ALL Muslims are oh so innocent and nice!!! As someone else here stated, what the heck are we supposed to think when we see Muslims celebrate each and everytime something happens to the US???????????

I'm fed up with ppl calling me racist just because I speak my mind about Muslim Terrorists........

Why can't the truly innocent Muslims (and we all know that probably the majority of Muslims is indeed innocent and doesn't want anything but to live in peace) stand up and do something about their brothers (in faith) that believe they have to harm and destroy the US and it's ppl??????

How can it be that a Muslim complains about being looked at funny when they speak or pray Arabic, waer a shirt with Arabic script, wear a hijab while boarding a plane ????? You know (just for example here) you may believe green is the greatest color,so you dye your hair green....well there's ppl that don't like it and will look at you funny. If you want to avoid confrontaion/problems DONT DYE YOUR HAIR GREEN!!!!

Yes I know it is a religion, but unfortunatley Terrorists have claimed to have killed in the name of THAT religion.Which was wrong in the first place because it has put ALL Muslims under suspicon. But hey guess what,I just saw something on the news tonight.........

One of the guys that have planted BOMBS on German trains (luckily didn't go off since they didn't put it together quite right) July 31st,kep going to a Mosque in the City of Kiel. They shwoed videos of him BEING there (from early this year) ,all over sudden nobody there knows him!!!!!!!

They all in that Mosque claim to be innocent-damn why did NOBODY report the guys plans to the Police then???????

THAT is what makes ppl (Muslims) suspicous.

I know one thing for darn sure,I would not help ANY Muslim enter the US.You NEVER know if they are who they want you to believe they are or if they just use you to get into the country and then turn around and blow something up in the name of Allah.

And yeah ppl will call me racist and what not all over again now,but guess what that's my opinion and I stand up for it!

Nat

DAYUM! I don't think I've ever heard such racist comments ever. It's sad that you judge a group of people due to your own ignorance. You are German, correct? I don't see people here cutting you down because of what your country did to many people including my great grand parents. OH YES, I'm going there! Do you know how many distant relatives I lost in Germany? Yes honey, I'm German just like you and I do not hold a grudge against Germans. You know, God has a sense of humor. I'd hate to think that some day you could be in a life and death situation and the only one that can help you is a muslim. God will get ya back ;)

lol it's fine... My parents made a mistake in their lives, just one in my eyes. Everything else they've done for me is wonderful and i'll never be able to repay them for the love and affection they've provided me with. I don't need someone elses approval to know that my parents are good people. They are good Muslims and have a raised a good one too!

i fail to see how you getting a green card has anything to do with her father staying in the usa illegally from 1982-2005. not even close to being in the same ballpark.

Perhaps there's a little more to the situation than is possible to draw from a 1 or 2 line forum post. Not having all the facts of the case - I'm not sure how you can really judge, considering as it is entirely possible for someone to acrue illegal time during this process for no fault of their own.

It's okay, Charles is just being nasty and trying to get a rise out of me. Sadly we have people in the world like that. We're all here for one purpose: immigration. Being illegal doesn't automatically make you a bad person. Yes, we do need to regulate who comes into the country and who comes out... but we also need to fix our broken immigration system (and we know how long things take, which i'm sure everyone has had to deal with) before people stop coming in illegally and choose the legal path instead.

I.E. People from Muslim countries are having to wait for this so called "security clearance" process that takes countless months.

Outcome: More people will be attracted towards the illegal way, it's a quicker temporary fix. It's completely evident, many foreign nationals are entering Mexico and coming in EWI from Mexico borders. I wouldn't be suprised if they are just trying to ditch the immigration process because of "security clearances."

FYI, you can off as completely racist.
Agreed

Alright, I'll say it again for the cheap seats: Islam is not a race.

I actually "agreed" to the entire post, not just the part that you're racist... I don't know why you picked that out unless you feel some kind of guilt about it.

You're right that Islam is not a race. Were I to call you anything it would be a bigot.... not calling you anything just saying if I were too.... ;)
