The only countries that are required to bhave extra security checks for the most part is... the T26 Countries. Suprise suprise... all Muslim obviously, lol.

So are you saying that the checks are done because the person is Muslim? Or are the checks done because the country they are from is a state sponsor of terrorism?-or are you saying the two are synonymous?

Either way-when an application is received; USCIS does not know what religion that person is, so the first factor considered is the country of origin.

BTW before someone calls me a Muslim hater-I'm not, I am just a person that thinks that regardless of origin/religion or whatever, the Govt has a right to check anyone they chose for immigratiuon purposes. I don't think that makes me a bad person.

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!

Pakistan is actually not a supporter of terrorism, it actively helps the USA seek out terrorists.

The two pretty much ARE synonymous. The Embassy clearly said "80% of MUSLIM MEN have to undergo administartive processing/administrative review."

Yes, but they are NOT going through that because they are Muslim, they are going through that because they come from a country that has been identified as a state sponsor of terrorism. Because ( by your own admission), being Muslim and from a country that sponsors terrorism is synonymous.

Well, thanks for the exchange :)

It's late-g'night all

Eh my dad's permanent card is ready and has been for the past few months... but like every other Muslim man he has to wait for security clearance. (According to the Embassy, 80% of Muslim men are put under security clearance, the rest of the 20% are usually children or people above the age of 65... or just incredibly lucky.)

Seriously Canuhandleit, don't bother explaining yourself or anything to Charles (or a few others here). It's really a waste of time. TRUST ME, many (if not most) people here do not care. They don't want to sympathize with you. They don't want to understand anything that is different from them. As I saw in another thread... anyone who sympathizes with Arabs or Muslims is a traitor to the USA and should pretty much just die because we're all scum. Before long we'll all be in concentration camps (much like Palestine is on it's way to) and everyone can feel safe and secure then once all the big bad ugly scary Arabs/muslims have been captured or killed.

I mean good grief... even muslims here hate muslims

Layla is right, donnot bother...

When countries are put on that list just because it's a muslim country then it's because they are muslim. For the most part, you don't really have to ask the majority of people from most of those countries what their religion is. It's assumed they are muslim.

what would you think the most islamically sound saying for terrorists that praise allah be?

How about just "terrorist" or "the bad guys"?
