Looks like a time warp, and they are going back in time. Yesterday VSC was stating April 3, now also showing February.

Blame it on that IMBRRA rule! :diablo:

I remember reading in one of the threads that they are redoing the way the are reporting the proccessing times. Something about a 6 month window. Maybe someone can find the thread.

Idiots to the core.

CSC doesn't get it. Have they ever understood the big picture? Their reputation has always been bad.

Nothing has changed. Has it?

I guess if there are applications pending for the month or Feb then that should be the case. They should not hold the innocent people unfairly. I guess it should have been first come first served. So now they might start the process in a routine manner. Good luck for those in Feb and cheers to whole USCIS.

I know this sounds optomistic, but I believe that even though the date is now in February... IMBRA filers will not wait that much longer. 1st because they have already approved alot of people with march april and may noa1's. All it means is that at least 1 i129f hasnt been processed that was a noa1 in late feb.

I looked at VSC and they show the same date. I suspect it is an error since I am seeing VJrs who filed in march that have been to their visa interviews.

Unfricking believable. I about lost my mind when I saw they are now processing OLDER petitions than the March 6th (which was the IMBRA effective date, even though it was signed January 5th!)

I honestly can't believe the incompetence with USCIS. I had a friend who had to get a handwritten (no letterhead) letter to work. It looks like that place is run by a bunch of three year olds, and even then I think it migth be better. What annoys me EVEN more is the fact that files just sit there literally for months and no processing takes place on them. Oh, ya and the fact the imbra form COULD have been posted back in january or february so they didn't have to send out 10,000 letters for those waiting.

How the hell will we ever legalize 15 million+ people when they can't get SIMPLE forms right. Good Lord! We are now going to file for me in her home country as well, and we will see how fast their process goes (usually less than 1 month).

I honestly give up. No more waiting for this person, this is complete incompetence.

There is another thread that the USCIS recently CHANGED the way they report. They are now reporting the LONGER of their actual processing time or their "standard" for processing time. In other words, they have given themselves a 6 MONTH "standard" to process I-129F applications.

I suggest we contact ALL our members of congress and suggest a 30 day standard. After all, that's what Vermont has been caple of within the last year. Even if USCIS and Congress negotiate to a 60 day standard, it might (if we're very lucky) light a fire under the director at California.

I saw that 6 month standard thread also. If that's the case they better get busy! My 6 months is up in less than 2 weeks!!!!

This is big government at it's finest. In my fiancee's country, they have a solution for this #######. Its the honorarium system. You pay somebody, you get the approval.
