Travelling to US without spouse CR-1

i am intending to travel to the US next April, a couple of months ahead of my spouse. She intends to follow me to the US in July. She has some work commitments that she needs to do before returning to the US. Will I have trouble at the POE?

Yes, I am the foreign spouse. I was thinking that as my wife is technically resident in the US and is only out of the country for a short period of time, immigration should not have any problems. Also, does US immigration track the where abouts of of US citizens?

If she is resident in the USA (tax filings stating she is a US resident, bills, lease to house or similar) then you should be ok.

As US citizens must travel in and out of the USA with their US passport, I assume they are tracked.
