Our case was transferred today to the CSC. Our EAD and AP are still pending with the AOS. We had an RFE earlier this month. They just received our response one week ago and have already transferred it to the CSC, so I'm wondering how this affects our EAD but the status on the USCIS website hasn't changed for our EAD and AP. In fact our AP hasn't had a single touch since we filed it, even though we had an RFE and the biometrics appointment letter was returned as undeliverable (problem with our postal carrier that we got straightend out). The EAD is still showing that thier letter was returned and we should contact the USCIS to update our correct address (which we did).

How long have most people waited for their EAD after their case was transferred to the CSC? The timeline is estimating our EAD should be processed between January 23rd and Feb 1st, but I don't know if that means the EAD gets slowed down or speeded up or is unchanged.

Thanks.

His interim benefits (EAD and AP) are delayed by the same length of time it took you to respond to and the Service to receive the info requested by the RFE. In other words, if from the time of the notice till the time they completed the CSC transfer was 30 days, you should add 30 days to the wait time for the interims. Vj timeline data does not take RFE's into the calculation.

Also the EAD and AP are not issued by Cali. They are issued by the NBC. Which is really a good thing for you, because that means production of these two benefits will resume independently of the I-485 portion of the case.

Dodi, you can look at this timeline that I kept for UK 2009 and started into 2010 (second sheet). It's a sampling of people's experiences. There's not signigicant differences in EAD received times of people filing near each other, with or without an RFE . Nik+Heather got theres in 33 days despite an RFE. Snowbunnies EAD was approved the same day as the CSC transfer despite an RFE. Anyway have a look if you're interested UK AOS timeline
