Foreign College Transcripts

My wife has her college transcripts and we are trying to get her enrolled in the Univeristy here in the U.S. How would I get her transcripts looked at to verify what courses carry over to the U.S. College? I was told a equivilancy agency.

Speak to the school - the school may have one that you must use to have the courses evaluated. For example, I had to use World Education Services to have them send the transcripts to the college I was applying to

I use World Education Services too in New York and have them send to the University.... You can google it to get the address and info...

Does the agency only except official transcripts. My wifes college sent the transcripts to her email. Would they except this?

WES requires photocopy of diploma and transcript. However, they also require that the foreign university send directly to WES the official transcript of record with university seal.

NO, this is not accepted by WES. The school must send the transcripts directly to WES. However, as I said, speak to the school - WES may not be the service they'll accept

I have used Josef Silny & Associates twice now in the US (once for teaching certificaton in GA & the second time for postgrad. studies). I was required to send my original South African degree and transcripts. They have been prompt and professional, and I received my documents back no problem.
