I see this mentioned quite often. What is the 125%.. Is this from the poverty level figure of 14k??

What is the required amount for 864form and for a spouse??

google I-864P... it is the table you use to look up based on your facts and family situation

YMMV

Thanks

I was curious, I don't foresee a problem lol unless I become unemployed. I notice they wanted 3 years tax form. I hope 2008 isn't a problem I was laid off one job and out of work for 5 months. I think I only made 18k plus unemployment.

If you feel it will be a problem attach a letter explaining why 2008 has a lower income listed.

It could be a problem and require you to have a co-sponsor. In my opinion, the 864 is the one form immigration truly looks at.

May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!
