The CEMAR (aka Marriage Index) do take a few days.

My wife just got hers last week - 190 pesos.

450 pesos and 2 - 3 weeks is what I'm told. I recall reading that some people have gotten them sooner. I would guess that it takes the same length of time as a CENOMAR since they check the same things.

P.S. That's ordered over the phone and delivered to your residence, etc.

my husband is at the NSO in pasay right now getting a marriage index. his interview is on january 10 2011. im not sure if there's enough time in between.. if not, i hope the cenomar he got one month before our wedding will be good enough

@jhilly, if his in the NSO today and filed it already.. it will takes 5days only he will get the copy so no problem... i filed also today and my sched for pick up the cemar is on jan. 4 2011..

lucky u, u get to pick it up sooner. my husband cant pick it up until jan.7,2011. 3 days before the interview hehe... magiging super busy sya. jan.3 and 4 medical nya tapos jan 7 balik sa NSO then jan10 for his interview. then WHEN approved hehe, he's gotta go back for the seminar and get the CFO sticker ... he's from cavite. u?

its ok atleast he will complete the requirements b4 the interview date:-) that's life hehehe it will paid off after the hardship:-) im from QC.

i called again just now to follow up on our interview appointment. i guess the guy i talked to the first time didnt do whatever he needed to do correctly. so i called again just now and the gentleman was able to schedule a new appointment and he emailed me the confirmation letter right away. jan 11 at 7:15am is my husbands interview.. i wish i can accompany him but i cannot get time off of work. after the interview and after he receives the visa how is the CFO seminar like? any ideas? if u can, message mo po ako te

Hi to all IR-1 category here...i just want to ask f we still need a CEMAR? and what is the CEMAR? this is the first time i heard this one, i thought that the marriage certificate from NSO is the CEMAR but they said its not the same..plz help us to enlighten what is CEMAR, and how many days we can get it from NSO...

what about the CENMAR? is it the same thing as the Marriage Certificate?
