If God is reading this (which I know He is not, lol) then show us all a simple sign.....Make VJ have an outage tomorrow for a period of 90 minutes at some point throughout the day....Then we will all know that the invisible unseen never before heard from never before shown a single fraction of a hint to humanity of His existance is actually there.... tick...tock...tick...tock....

God tells me the outage will occur only for you tomorrow, for exactly 90 minutes. Make sure you check throughout the 24 hour period, so that you don't miss it.

Sad thing is you probably believe something relatively close to what you just posted....Now I hate to get into this again but since you say God is infinitely intelligent it means that without a doubt He is missing 1 of the remaining 2 "Godly Powers" of infinite power and infinite kindness.....My guess is He has the infinite power and intelligence but is one evil sadistic Creator lacking the kindness (assuming I believed in fairy tales).....

Example:

You can't "know" that 1 million children will starve tomorrow (just a made up number but probably close to realistic) and have the "power" to prevent this atrocity and call yourself infinitely "kind".

You ever stop to think about how evil this makes your God that has never been heard from, never seen, never proven real, never shown any sign to humanity of His existence in thousands of years seem???? You have to go back 2 thousand years when human intelligence was at a 2000 year low to when the Holy Book was written. As Scandal pointed out (paraphrasing) the bible was written decades after Jesus died. It'd be like not having television, radio, or any recording devices in the days of WW II ...and then decades go by with nothing but word of mouth talking about what happened, and then generations pass, and then finally you have some clowns write what they believed happened.....

Keep in mind back then the life expectancy was probably <40 years old, they thought if you got in a boat and traveled 10 miles you would fall into outerspace, and probably another thousand scientific embarrassments that they believed to be true. These people back then were idiots!!!! Was mathematics just coming out back then? Did they know what gravity was? These bimbos back then didn't know the answers to BASIC questions of life like what force keeps us grounded? What shape is the planet? Yet all religious people place their faith in what these bimbos wrote down 2000 years ago....Does it get any sillier?

I have been reading here but haven't said much though I normally might in this kind of thread. It's been an interesting thread. I feel others have given answers to why a Christian might believe what we do about Jesus being God and the son of God and I don't have much more to add.

The funny thing is that VJ did have an outage yesterday. Not that I think that God uses VJ to establish the truth of His existemce but VJ was out.
