My Fiancee is scheduled to have her medical exam in 2 days, but she is getting a bit of a cold. A little cough and a runny nose.. do you guys recommend her to continue with the medical exam or cancel? Her interview date is in Jan. 7. Should we reschedule our interview to a later date? Any advise is appreciated.

She should be fine its only a cold take some meds and bed rest tomorrow and she will be right

Divorced !st November 2012.

Medical exam is a consulate/embassy subject, moving this to that forum.

Anyway, having a cold will not be a problem for medical exam, they are looking for inadmissible sicknesses, the common cold is not an issue.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

If she has lung congestion it may me a problem as they may require sputum test. If her lungs are clear it shouldn't be a problem.

Have her go Tuesday thru Thursday AFTER 12 noon. She'll beat the morning rush then. ALSO people tend to clear up as the day goes on.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

Dakine, thank you for the suggestion. Would it be enough time for them to do all the medical exams? Did you go after 12 noon when you took your medical exam? How was the experience and wait time?
