Has anyone here read this? My thoughtful sister gave this Stones fan a copy for Christmas. I look forward to reading it. It's been in the top 5 of the NY Times bestseller list for non fiction since it's release.

I read Ozzy's autobio and it was a hoot.

He credited his start in the music business to his dad,

who bought him a PA set. Established bands would

only consider hiring a vocalist who had his own PA set.

The New York Public Library has 159 copies of LIFE and I'm at the end of the waiting list.

I'm also on the waiting list for the Westchester library, so whichever one comes first I'll grab.

I'm a bit surprised that this book is so popular. I've read a few reviews on it and all say it's an interesting read. Keith is brutally honest in the stories he tells. I've read a few comments that think he did it for the money, I believe he got $6 million for the book, but for someone with an estimated worth of $250 million, it hardly seems likely. Keith tells it like it is. Here is man who literally never had a regular job his entire life and became a legend.

I saw them in Shea Stadium (Steel Wheels Tour) .

At that time, Mick and Keith were already 50;

Keith looked way over 60 (still does) but Mick

was very athletic, jumping around the enormous

stage. A nice touch was the gigantic blow-up

sex doll that was the backdrop for "Honky-Tonk Woman"

I hope the "palm tree falling-out-of" incident in New Zealand

is in Keith's book. I'd have to see what his take on that was...

He was in a hospital in New Zealand; the incident was in Fiji.
