When to file I-751

Hello everyone and Happy holidays

Just wanted to clarify one thing. I recieved my conditional green card on Mar 16 2009. When can I file the I-751. The way I understand it is that it is within the time period of 90 days before your 2nd anniversary of recieving the conditional green card? Which in my case will be from Dec 16 2010- Mar 16 2011. Am I correct?. Thank you for your answers.

the date on your green card expires, count backwards 90 days thats your day to send your file ,not before or thay will sent it back to you,

File immediately. You're within your 90-day window right now. I believe the 2 years / 90 days is based upon the issue date of the green card and not necessarily the date you received it (slow mail, etc.)

It doesn't matter when you got married or when you received your card. What matters is the expiration date on the card itself. While it's about 3 months earlier, remember that February has only 28 days and December 31, meaning if you want to send it as early as possible you have to calculate the days of the months, the carrier, and the weather. If you want to be safe, send it about a week after your 90-day window opens.

You are correct assumming March 16 is the expiration date on your greencard. Do it sooner, rather than later.
