I already sent out my i864, affidavit of support, but I recalled that I have not declared one of my income and employment in that , though it was only for 2 days under the Board of Elections earning around $500, i was wondering if I should send over a corrected i864 , with the changes of income. Though my AOS already has been approved and my Case is almost at the last stage of completion, but it's giving me a headache.

Note: I work for the Government and my income is fair enough to sponsor several other people based on the Poverty Guideline

any positive feed back will be highly appreciated

I would not bother with that, sounds like a very part time gig. And they have accepted it without that listed.

The income information noted on the I-864 just needs to satisfy them it does not need to be a complete accounting, for example you may be getting income from an investment, but if your work income is satisfactory then you don't need to list that investment.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

Deshi bhai,

If your current Employment is over qualified. YOU DO NOT NEED TO PROVE ADDING EXTRA INCOME TO BE QUALIFIED. Since we're all in under visa retrogression, WE ALL NEED TO SUBMIT AMMENDED I-864 WHEN USEM BD ISSUE OUR VISA APPROVAL. AS YOU MENTION IN PREVIOUSE THREAD THAT IT WILL TAKE 2/3 YEARS FOR BECOME VISA CURRENT.

SINCE YOU ARE WORKING FOR US GOVERNMENT, YOU MIGHT HAVE A GOOD CONNECTION WITH US EMBASSY DHAKA, YOU CAN ALSO USING GOVERNMENT AGENCY TO GET APPROVAL FOR YOUR F2A VISA. YOU DO NOT NEED TO GET IN THE LINE. :star:

I KNEW A PERSON WHO HAS DONE IT THROUGH GOVERNMENT AGENCY.

I agree with YuAndDan completely. If your I864 has been approved based on what you submitted. Then, that's it. No need to update. If you try to do so, you're only going to add delay and confusion. There's a simple saying from the old south... "If it's not broken.... DON'T FIX IT". You're Fine.

Best of Luck,

Thanks all for your nice advice. I will follow that. But what I will do , I will send a new taxfile once i submit my return next year in February. I know they will ask for the updated i864 anyways as we will be facing

Deshi bhai

We cannot make any sort of backdoor influence , only People's representatives can create some pressures like the Congresspersons and Senators. I know several people at USEM Dhaka, but I wont make any sorts of request, thats totally illegal to do so. But what I expect that they wont make unnecessary delays or Administrative Processing in my case. Like they approved my I130 in only 2 months and several days. NVC is handled by a Contractor , they are very good in doing the paperworks but they dont have any authority to make any executive decisions

Deshi bhai,

I dont know how you say that it is illegal. I probably read somewhere at DOS website that Visa number could be given out for making special request from Government Agency. I just couldn't find the link where it says. Since you're working for US Government, may be it will be diferrent when your case reach to the Embassy level and consider you as Government Agency category. You are LUCKY!!!!!!
