Well, here we go....

Finally got our NOA1 today...YAY!!!!

we are on the road, hopefully to a quick approval, but hey.... how long is a piece of string?

well, all the best to absolutely everyone..

heres to UCSIS, maybe positive thought will speed things up????

erm, its worth a try..

August 12/06 APPROVED - NOA2!!

August 28/06 Left NVC. . . Vancouver Bound!

September 27/06 Interview APPROVED, with visa in hand

October 29/06 Moving Date

December 30/06 Married!!

AOS Journey:

January 16/07 Sent out AOS, EAD, and AP docs

January 23/07 NOA1's for AOS, EAD and AP

February 13/07 Biometrics in Portland, OR

April 7/07 EAD and AP Received

April 24/07 Interview Scheduled . . . and APPROVED, stamp and all!

May 7/07 Greencard is in my hands!

ROC Journey:

February 17/09 Sent I-751 to CSC

February 18/09 NOA1

March 14/09 Biometrics appt.

April 22/09 Date of Approval!!

June 25/09 Greencard arrives in the mail!

hey congrats :) our timelines will be very similar and im also a londoner and my partner is a texan :D we put our forms in 4 days after you guys!

im in texas at the moment and im due back in the UK in about a month. although my partner is in california for the weekend to see her heavily pregnant sister. its only been a day and i miss her already, i suck :whistle:

anyway, i digress :P

great news and i hope for a speedy NOA2 for you guys as well :)

  • August 9, 2006 NOA1
  • August 21, 2006 received NOA1 in mail
  • October 4, 5, 7, 13 & 17 2006 Touches! 50 day address change... Yes Judith is beautiful, quit staring at her passport photo and approve us!!! Shaming works! LOL
  • October 13, 2006 NOA2! November 2, 2006 NOA2? Huh? NVC already processed and sent us on to Abu Dhabi Consulate!
  • February 12, 2007 Abu Dhabi Interview SUCCESS!!! February 14 Visa in hand!
  • March 6, 2007 she is here!
  • MARCH 14, 2007 WE ARE MARRIED!!!
  • May 5, 2007 Sent AOS/EAD packet
  • May 11, 2007 NOA1 AOS/EAD
  • June 7, 2007 Biometrics appointment
  • June 8, 2007 first post biometrics touch, June 11, next touch...
  • August 1, 2007 AOS Interview! APPROVED!! EAD APPROVED TOO...
  • August 6, 2007 EAD card and Welcome Letter received!

thanks for the help with the signature thingy, last night in celebration of our NOA1, I ended up consuming

a little bit too much vino, so it was surprising I could actually turn on a light switch, let alone work out

signatures...lol, so thanks for that.

heres to speedy approvals to everyone, I would raise a glass, but I think Id barf..

to m olask, its great to hear from other couples with similar timeframes and embassies,

good luck to you and your other half, NOA2 here we come!!!!!

Jul 5 - Receipt date for I-130 petition for my over 21 brother and his wife (both in the UK)

Feb 23 - Sent USCIS a message asking for a processing update

May 6 - Received an email response saying things were progressing normally but that waiting times might be longer

We are sort of in the same situation waiting for that NOA2. This might turn out to be the Texas - London thread. I'm Texan and my hubby is a Londoner.
