So do you confirm then that I need 6 pictures with showing ears?

I confirm that you DO NOT have to show your ears. Here is what it says about photos on the Aussie K1 site:

"Two photographs are required. They must be unmounted full-face photos, taken within the past 6 months; photos should measure 2 inches square (roughly 50mm square) with the head centered in the frame. The head measured from the top of the hair to the bottom of the chin should measure at 1 inch to 1 3/8 inches (25mm to 35mm) with the eye level at 1 1/8 inch to 1 3/8 inches (28mm and 35mm) from the bottom of the photo. Photos should be printed without borders. The photograph must be full-face view in which the visa applicant is directly facing the camera."

If Aussie specific isn't enough, here is the OFFICIAL page from Travel.State.gov for photos: http://travel.state.gov/pdf/Photo%20Guide%2010-01-04.pdf you will see that at least two of the "this photo is right" pics don't show ears. I use this website for pics: http://www.epassportphoto.com/ which linked the previous link as requirements.

They don't care about ears, they care about your face. Hope that puts you more at ease.
