Santa's predator takes off

CNN reports that Santa has left Jerusalem and the Pentagon satellite control facility has red dots showing his progress as he picks up the presents from Walmart central logistics area in Tehran

Rudolph the brown nose reindeer has left his annual rut in Wasilla and after treatment at the American Society for the repair of mammals wounded by cross-eyed reality celebs, and is en route to meet Santa in Tehran before they enter North Korean air space on the first leg of the trip. Children, and simple minded, obese, middle aged women with maxed out credit cards the world over will await sparkly eyed to catch a sight of them with their over 2 billion presents for christian children and ten thousand metric tons of high grade coal for the reviled and loathed children of non believers and other religions. We are talking a serious sleigh here.

Because this amount of coal coal is insufficient to punish all the unbelievers and alternative believers etc, Boeing have produced a new predator called the 'Piece be on you' drone which automatically target the 'other-children' and can hit their houses with pieces of coal at 15 time the speed of sound causing instant cremation of the occupants. They are working on next year's model which will produce the more desirable 'slow cremation'

In order to avoid friendly fire incidents, the White House is selling infra red marker beacons for christians to put on top of their houses for identification by the drones

To obtain the beacons, a letter from your pastor and certified copies of 10 years tithing at 10% minimum is required in addition to the $1k fee

There is a 'positive target' beacon available at $10k that you can secretly put on local mosques and pole dancing clubs and michael moore's house and this beacon has biblical verses of your choice inscribed on it at an extra £10 per word

New year's day is more like it - 'when people of all religions or non can come together to worship jesus christ' (quote: the simpsons)

Really though, new year's is wonderful and is truly universal.

I know the Chinese and various countries have different new year's days, but the concept is as near to a shared value as we get nowadays

Nothing really. The calendar we use now was adopted over several centuries by several regions and is still not recognized by some for religious reasons. In the FSU Christmas is not until January 7th. (I might add we also celebrate Christmas on January 7th for the very "religious" reason that we do all our "Christmas Shopping" after "Christmas" for 75% off)

Last time I checked Boeing doesn't produce Predators.

Nothing really. The calendar we use now was adopted over several centuries by several regions and is still not recognized by some for religious reasons. In the FSU Christmas is not until January 7th. The calendars we use were developed long after any event happening 2010 years ago, they were arbitrary when developed and arbitrary now.

Still the convention that the year is 2010 is far more widespread the exceptions you mentioned. It may seem arbitrary but it helps to have a common base year based on a historical event.

Predators will spread to other countries of course..they are a good idea and it has been noticed...
