hi hi. I am doing a DCF in manila, philippines. I was wondering if anyone knows that when i do my i-864 if i need exact copies of my return ans w2 (i'd have to order them from the irs), or can i just submit a transcript (i also would have to get this from the irs.... but for free) I just want to know from people who have experience on this, because according tothe IRS it says i might be able to just use transcripts for immigration purposes.

so anyone who can help clarify this for me, it would be greatly appreciated

Transcripts are acceptable in almost all i864 document cases abroad, but when you go to your interview you will need your W-2s for support proof.

Good Luck.

Overstayed J1 Visa.
