Merry Christmas to all, I would like to ask some advice...

The I-130 was rejected due to the reason of incorrect information of Part C of the beneficiary(Address part, address had been abbreviated). All the documents that have been submitted before has like a scanned numbers on the side and has a signature on it at the end of those numbers. My questions are:

1. Do we need to make a brand new sets of documents to re-send it or we will just make a brand new I-130 and send the rest of the documents that has scanned numbers on the side?

2. Do we also need to send the rejection notice back to USCIS?

Complete at least a new I-130 or edit the PDF you have saved of the one you sent. I suggest that if the address of the foreigner is too long for the top section of section C, that you indicate "see section 19" and make sure the address is complete in section 19. If there's not enough room there, refer to a separate sheet and include the complete address on a separate sheet. Since only section C is mentioned, only the I-130 needs to be changed.

What would you be explaining? Make sure you send the new fee if it changed in the interim.

I would include the rejection notice but you have nothing to explain.

May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!

we got an RFE for the same thing in september, we resubmitted everything, including the corrected I-130 and they sent a new NOA out...with a new number and a new date...so on that, id say, the clock starts again from the second I-130 received date. (originally our receipt date was 3rd sept, now its 18th sept.)

they may not catch the missing 'N/A'...who knows...different people notice different things...maybe get missed at USCIS...maybe NVC will pick up on it...

cant see it being an issue...but again...who knows...

hope not.

another thing, filling out the PDF I-130 on your pc i dont know if anyone noticed but sometimes the boxes arnt big enough for the words put in them...half the words disappear...which is kinda wrong of them to RFE on something that is a PDF and USCIS error...they should give more room in the boxes for the words to fit...

or maybe its just me...lol

It was a few months ago, but at one point USCIS was rejecting a lot of I-130s for "Part C Address" incorrectly. Definitely check everything carefully and make sure all your N/As and Nones are filled out, but in my case sending back the same application was all it took to get it accepted!

I would re-file the application, but also email Lockboxsupport@dhs.gov to see if you can get a better understanding of why you were rejected.

And, just to be clear, I sent back the same application with the numbers and signatures without a problem. So, if you need to make a few hand edits, go ahead and make them on the copy you got back. It didn't seem to make a difference for me.

Did you send your rejection notice too?
