06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Got the same email and I am in Dallas too.

There is nothing to worry about.

This would be a whole different matter if this was an isolated case.

Good that we have a one year extension.

True. It's definitely much better than waiting with no idea. We did have to call them first though. ;)

I am incredibly baffled but so pleased. I got the email today... March 7 - Card Production! HOOOORAAAAY!

I always mess the chart up so if someone can update mine, that'll be great.

WHAT!?!?!?!? USCIS skipped all the December and half of November VSC filers and approved you!?!?!?!?!

Just had my biometrics at the Chicago support center. She couldn't tell me whether I'll have to have an interview, she just said I'll be getting a letter in the mail. Fingers crossed it'll be a letter notifying me of production of my Green Card!

Just had my biometrics at the Chicago support center. She couldn't tell me whether I'll have to have an interview, she just said I'll be getting a letter in the mail. Fingers crossed it'll be a letter notifying me of production of my Green Card!

Who said this? The person who did your biometrics? In that case I wouldn't be placing too much weight to what she said. Thing is, they are only allowed to do fingerprinting, and they know whatever the result is of your petition, you will always receive a letter (which could be an RFE, interview, production, denial, anything really) after doing the biometrics. There is no way they can see what your status is (also because these are mostly part timers, the one who did me this time also still goes to school, for example), and this is also why she couldn't tell you what kind of letter you would be getting.

Hehe, I can also state everyone will receive a letter, but I have no clue what it will be lol.. don't worry, you will be receiving a letter, I don't know when, I don't know what it will be saying, but you will receive one ;)

Yeah the person who did the bio. I thought I had read somewhere that someone was told at their bio appt they we're getting their green card right away. I wouldn't have put all my faith in that person either way. Now to wait once again... :whistle:

I just received an email

On March 8, 2011, we ordered production of your new card Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you.

06/21/08 I got married to my lovely wife

10/07/08 AoS mailed!!!

12/07/08 AoS Received in Chicago Office

10/16/08 Received NOA and the money order got cashed

11/06/08 Biometrics Appointement

11/06/08 Biometrics Done

02/05/2009 Received interview letter

20/12/2008 EAD & AP approved

24/12/2008 EAD approved again( :oO)

02/25/2009 GC Approved

03/02/2009 GC received

01/05/2011 I-751 Mailed.

01/10/2011 Check got Cashed.

03/08/2011 Hell Ya I got approved ( Thanks to WM Tom Langford)
