Hello! Haven't been here for a while. :)

Anyways, we sent my I-751 on 1/18/11 (i think) on the overnight mail, date of NOA said its 1/20/11... Haven't receive mail on biometrics yet, hope that this will be here soon seeing that many of you have a date already :)

Hope that this will go smoothly for all of us, and yes, I too hope that my photo for this time around look decent and not scary! :)

I wanted to ask that when you all get a chance, please update your Immigration Timeline (http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/) since it'll be helpful for future users to view what the I-751 average timeline looks like without having to look at specific threads. :) I think it's another way to just help others.

Good luck to all! We are almost done with USCIS! Also, I'd like to remind everyone that if you decide not to go the citizenship route when you are finally eligible, the fee to renew a 10 yr card may increase... USCIS evaluates the fee schedule every 2 yrs, and sometimes increases the fees. Just a heads up! Good luck!

Hi guys,

I just called USCIS Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283, inquiring about my biometric appointment (NOA1 dated 1/10/2011). The lady said it is usually 30 days, or I have to call them again next week. So they did scheduled an appointment last Friday and all she could say is my appointment would be in March.

Hopefully, the notice will come in the mail this week.

I-751 Waiver Timeline:

1/08/2011 - Sent I-751 to CSC

1/10/2011 - Package received by CSC

1/12/2011 - Check cleared

1/15/2011 - NOA receipt dated 1/10/2011

2/10/2011 - Rec'd biometrics appt notice dated 2/3/2011

3/03/2011 - Biometrics appt.

4/25/2011 - Card Production ordered

4/29/2011 - Card Received

Done with USCIS.

It has been almost 3 weeks since they signed for my package but still no NOA in my mail... Should I start worry and call USCIS?

I got my visa on 28 Aug 2008

Arrival to US on 30 Aug 2008

I got my SSN on 26 Sept 2008

We got married on 1 oct 2008

I got my ID card on 15 oct 2008

3 NOV 2008- I-485,I-131,I-765 sent to Chicago

13 NOV 2008- check was cashed

18 NOV -I got 3 NoA for my papers dated 13 Nov 2008

24 NOV- biometrics NOA

4 DEC- biometrics appointment

13 DEC- RFE (tax papers)

26 DEC, 31 DEC, 8 JAN- biometrics had to be retaken :(

9 JAN - Case processing has resumed

4March- AOS Interview NOA

7 APR- green card interview -approved

I-751- conditions removal Vermont SC

19 Jan -sent the package

21 Jan- the package was received by USCIS (NOA dated 1/25)

28 Jan- check was cashed

24 Feb- Fingerprints Appointment

6 July - Approval notice

9 July - Green card received

We are in the same boat as you are. NOA date is 01/10/2011 and no biometrics appointment. It seems they scheduled once you had called. Is that correct?

I wanted to ask that when you all get a chance, please update your Immigration Timeline (http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/) since it'll be helpful for future users to view what the I-751 average timeline looks like without having to look at specific threads. :) I think it's another way to just help others.

Good luck to all! We are almost done with USCIS! Also, I'd like to remind everyone that if you decide not to go the citizenship route when you are finally eligible, the fee to renew a 10 yr card may increase... USCIS evaluates the fee schedule every 2 yrs, and sometimes increases the fees. Just a heads up! Good luck!

The current fee is $365 for form I-90 and $85 for biometrics. BTW just because you become a US Citizen does not mean you automatically lose Canadian citizenship. Instead you become dual citizen. Perhaps this page is helpful: Dual Citizenship FAQ

The lady at USCIS told me they did made a schedule for me last Friday. I believe they will send the notice out the same day and if they did, it should arrive in my mailbox this week. If not, I will call them again next week.
