I can't watch videos right now but the title has been walked back by Pat Robertson.

A spokesman for Mr. Robertson emails to say that he did not intend to suggest the legalization of marijuana, but rather to question the severity of the government’s punishments for those who use or possess a small amount of the drug. Here is the statement, from spokesman Chris Roslan:

"
Dr. Robertson did not call for the decriminalization of marijuana
. He was advocating that our government revisit the severity of the existing laws because mandatory drug sentences do harm to many young people who go to prison and come out as hardened criminals. He was also pointing out that these mandatory sentences needlessly cost our government millions of dollars when there are better approaches available. Dr. Robertson’s comments followed a CBN News story about a group of conservatives who have proven that faith-based rehabilitation for criminals has resulted in lower repeat offenders and saved the government millions of dollars. Dr. Robertson unequivocally stated that he is against the use of illegal drugs."

Legalize it!!!!

Even Sarah Palin believes pot should be decriminalized.

“If somebody’s gonna to smoke a joint in their house and not do anybody else any harm, then, um perhaps there are other things that are cops should be looking at to engage in,” Ms. Palin said on Fox News last summer.

Doesn't seem like a walk-back to me,

Actually I thought the headline on the vid was inaccurate , so I titled it to "decriminalize".... but comments matches the clip.

Here's what he said.

... but I just believe that criminalizing marijuana, criminalizing the possession of a few ounces of pot, that kind of thing, it’s just, it’s costing us a fortune and it’s ruining young people,” Mr. Robertson said. “Young people go into prisons, they go in as youths and come out as hardened criminals. That’s not a good thing.

I read that to mean he doesn't think the criminilization of possessing small amounts of pot is a good thing.

And here's the walk back.

Dr. Robertson did not call for the decriminalization of marijuana.

Point made.

Still it he seemed to be speaking more about -mandatory sentencing, being too much punishment for such a small crime, rather than calling for the legalization of Pot.

If the choice came down to Palin of Obamer, many would even Choose Palin.

As for you, I am sure you will be the last man standing in support of obama.

You are wrong again I'm afraid. Yes, I am very aware that many would choose Palin. There is no requirement in this country for a voter to know anything at all about the issues. The Tea Party takes full advantage of that with the help of its patron, fox noise!

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."
